Not sure what forum this fits into as I see it being useful on both mac and Windows.
To all of my track rats, DJs, musicians, songwriters, tinkerers…
Check this out! The Dr. Mix YouTube channel just showed a demo of the ACEStudio platform that now allows you to talk to your DAW.
In the video, Dr. Mix uses it to quantize, come up with parts, change vocals, add and audition loops, adjust plugin settings, add VST instruments, mute and shift audio around. It's really quite impressive.
Here is the YouTube video. The demo shows Dr. Mix trying to break the platform by throwing all kinds of tasks at it.

Here is a link to the platform itself.

At the end of the video, he gives the VI community a shout out by touting how useful this could be for our community.
Imagine, no more endless VO-right, interacting, interacting again, interacting a third time, adjusting a parameter and then reversing the process… then realizing you need to make another adjustment somewhere else. No more memorizing complex layouts of a hardware interface. Imagine editing your podcast by simply saying, "Take out the cough."

This is awesome
This is awesome. I’ve never played around with technology like this, but the whole idea of being able to talk to. It would be so great. I am like really wishing for an all voice interactive phone, and the same thing for a computer I could still have a screen reader, but I could do all the commands with my voice. Awesome. We don’t really have that yet, but I’m really hoping someday. But yeah, that’s pretty awesome. Yeah you could do editing with your voice. Very cool Grapevine.
Man I just want ace studio to work ngl
Straight up, that and the new vovious pitch correcter and we're good. I'm not sure talking to my daw is faster for most things, though I suppose doing the boring stuff like session organization and the like would be greatly improved.
do you people
do you people not find it conserning at all that thee's people barely talk about it on there website? when you go to subscribe they don't talk about it as well. until they do that im not subscribing
What's the point?
What's the point in talking about ace studio when it's not accessible? Doesn't really do us any good if we can't friggin' use the damn thing lol. Yes the idea ofatalking to your daw sounds cool but if we can't even use ace studio what's the point in saying anything?
Re: What's the point?
I posted because it is cool tech and points to future potential for this technology. I'm sure someone out there is working on this for something that is accessible. It may not be Ace Studio, but we may get something in future that is even better and more accessible than this.
