VoiceOver Bug in iOS 27 / iPadOS 27: Capital Letters Verbosity Not Working on Keyboard

Hi everyone! 😊
I wanted to check in with my fellow VoiceOver users here. Has anyone else noticed a strange bug after updating to iOS 27 or iPadOS 27?
I’m having a specific issue with the Capital Letters verbosity setting in the newly released version. Here are the details:

*
* The Problem:
When I go to Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Verbosity > Capital Letters, I have it set to either "Play Sound" or "Change Pitch". However, when using the standard English keyboard with the Shift key selected, VoiceOver doesn't seem to care. When I move the focus to any letter, it just reads it like a lowercase letter. It does not play the sound, and it does not change the pitch at all.
* The Weird Part:
If I use the rotor to switch to "Characters" and flick down through the text, VoiceOver works perfectly! It will correctly play the sound or change the pitch for capital letters just like it's supposed to.
*

It seems like the bug only happens when directly typing on the keyboard with the Shift key active. Is anyone else experiencing this on the new iOS 27 / iPadOS 27? If you have any workarounds or fixes, please let me know. Thanks so much!

Haha.
I did notice.
but it's such a tiny bug that Is likely to be fixed that I just let it go.
But yes Mine stopped making the capital noise when I type capital letters.
It's definitely a bug.
one thing I could try and could work is changing it to unselected to selected again.
then seeing if that works
but even still it's just a bug that will probably get fixed.
