Math by Voice: ten interactive math lessons — accessibility feedback wanted

Hello,

I’m the developer of Math by Voice, an iPhone app built around ten interactive foundational math lessons.

Each lesson is a dialogue with the student. The app asks questions, listens to spoken answers, responds to mistakes, and guides the student toward understanding—not simply memorizing the correct result.

The course begins with basic mathematical ideas and gradually moves to arithmetic operations, multiplication, fractions, and equations. Practice modes are also included, but the central feature is the sequence of ten guided conversational lessons.

Accessibility note: the app’s navigation, practice modes, and other sections are designed for blind and low-vision users and can be operated with VoiceOver. The ten interactive lessons are not yet fully nonvisual. Although their dialogue is spoken and the student answers by voice, some stages of the lessons still require visual attention to the screen. I want to be transparent about this current limitation, and feedback on how to make the lessons fully accessible would be especially valuable.

I would welcome independent feedback from blind and low-vision students, parents, and teachers, particularly about:

• VoiceOver navigation in the fully accessible sections;
• the clarity and pace of the lesson dialogue;
• spoken-answer recognition;
• which lesson elements still create visual barriers;
• suitability for independent and classroom learning.
