I am using iPhone Mirroring on my MacBook M1 (2020), and both my iPhone and MacBook are updated to the latest versions of iOS/macOS. However, I am facing a problem: iPhone Mirroring shows that it is connected, but VoiceOver only speaks on the Home Screen and in the App Switcher. It does not speak or read anything else.

Bug and a suggestion

This is a known bug. It is not known if and when Apple will fix this, if they even do. So here is my suggestion. Check out Keypad which I have discovered thanks to this community. This app emulates a bluetooth keyboard for your iOS devices. Free with one time in-app purchase from the Mac App Store, and yes, it is fully accessible with VoiceOver. Thanks Applevis for this fabulous app to work around iPhone Mirroring!
