macOS and Mac Apps
Hi all. I figured now that the Flexi thing has cooled, we can get back to the real discussion and that's accessibility of apps and things. I'm posting this here, because i've only used the mobile southwest air site on my Mac. It used to be fantastic. Now when you go there, there are a username, password, and login buttons, or a continue as guest, button. For some reason nothing seems to happen when I click on them. The main site is, ok, but I enjoyed the convenience of the mobile site. My question simply is, if anyone with another screen reader, would try to attempt the site, and prove my problem, how do we go about fixing it? If this topic needs to be put in general chat, I'll be happy to put it there. Thanks for reading. I'd be interested if i'm doing something wrong, as I found out with the BOFA site.

I can't reproduce you're issue. I just went to the site and it works just fine.

Isaac, It's not about going to the site, it's navigating it? As in if you click continue as guest, the page changes the text buttons etc do not. Now, please try this again and see if it comes up like that. Do you understand me?

Hi all. i decided to use my phone, and the site works fine. Now the question is, because I was using the same browser on a computer, it wouldn't load or so it seems. Is this something to contact them about? Again if someone on a windows based machine would look, I wonder if anything should be done. Thanks for all who read and respond.

What you described happened to me in other website. What I found out is that after pressing a button, the page was refreshing, but Voiceover continued reading the text of the previous page, which wasn't in the screen. My work around was to stop interacting with the HTML content, and to interact with it again.

Hi. Thank you so much for that suggestion, I haven't tried that. However, I sent them an email which is now in the hands of the customer relations department. I'm asking other blind people to just try mobile.southwest.com and see if they get the same experience. If so, I ask them to contact the airline, as this wasn't just ont he mac, but also in windows under Jaws and firefox this acted the same way. Thanks for responding.
