**Releasing November 20th**

Hey Folks, I just wanted to share some information on the upcoming Adventure To Fate: Dungeons game. This is the next chapter in the Adventure To Fate series and will be the 7th release over the past 14+ years.

Here is a preview of the game and what sets it apart from the previous ones.

Adventure To Fate: Dungeons is a turn-based roguelike RPG built on over a decade of handcrafted systems and content, now expanded with new roguelike mechanics, dungeons, and deeper progression than ever before. Battle through multiple unique dungeons, each with its own enemies, layouts, special mode, and storyline

New Features:

Prefixes (Items & NPCs)
Dynamic prefixes now modify both gear and enemies, adding variety to battles and loot. Expect surprises like “Frozen” staves or “Vengeful” enemies. These modifiers make every run feel more dynamic and unpredictable.

New Classes & Skills
Expanded class selection with fresh archetypes and unique abilities. The Thief introduces stealthy new mechanics, including the ability to steal and instantly equip items during combat.

Dungeons & Modes
Procedurally generated floors, themed challenges, and evolving modifiers. Explore the Crypt of Fate, The Lost Sands, and the Frozen Spire. New challenge modes, such as Mystic Mode and Hellish Mode, offer roguelike depth with harsh restrictions.

New Bosses & NPC Mechanics
Unique bosses that feature modular behaviors, taunts, and battle opening effects for a fresh challenge each time.

Art, Music & Sound Effects
A strong focus on immersive audio, especially tailored for VoiceOver users. The soundtrack includes a custom progressive rock album composed by Aaron Cloutier, with layered dungeon themes and encounter music.

QoL Improvements
Better VoiceOver support across menus and combat, improved onboarding, and a new auto-equip system that helps players jump right into the action.

Quests, Achievements & Meta Progression
New systems reward players for long-term accomplishments, character milestones, and cross-run goals. Discover layered objectives, rare class challenges, and endgame quests that shape your legacy.

EDIT now premium paid. (From “free to try” to paid)

This change is purely about giving the game and players the best chance to succeed. Competing in the free charts today often means going up against shovelware and pay-to-win clones, which makes visibility nearly impossible without a big ad budget. By launching as a one-time purchase ($4.99), the game will appear on the premium charts, right alongside other high-quality indie RPGs (exactly where it belongs).

Price: $4.99 (same as the previous unlock full game price and only charged on release day Nov 20th)
New Pre-Order Link:

Once again if you preordered as free it was canceled and you’ll need to agree to the new price.

Thanks for reading and let me know if you have questions!

Just occurs to me that all these curses and blessings can be used for quest ideas. Like, take fire blessing for example, if you get it 50 times, you can be a firedancer, 100 times would make you a fire caller, and 200 times and you can be firemaster... I'm setting the numbers high because this is possibly abuseable using the cryp of fate mystic mode- I can see some people might just keep reloading/recreating characters in that mode to hit the number...

Or...here's a better idea but more cruel.
What if the quests require you to finish the game with said curse/blessing? Maybe if you finish the game 10 times with the fire blessing on you then it advances you to fire dancer...20 times for fire caller...etc etc.

I think this may be a cool way to unlock new abilities/skills/items or even pets.

Thanks for the bug reports I’ll check the sounds and enemies to make sure this isn’t occurring. Does this always happen when no items drop or just sometimes. Like can you tell the difference between a true no drop and one you assume is bugged.

Yea the ranger sounds are on the list. I need to find a way to know it’s a ranged character. Maybe an array of skills it checks. This will be handled in the upcoming polish update.

As for more quests I think that’s an interesting idea. The more you have gotten that blessing the better it gets.

A quest to complete the game with different conditions is cool. I do that a little but I could for sure expand good idea. Taking that down too. It may be pushed to the upcoming legends game where I plan to expand quests within the dungeons with quest givers and more things to search out. Either way good idea!

I never gotten that pet before :) just came acrossed it today for the first time and noticed the shadow charm on it is broken. Rather than giving different shadow spells it just stays as "shadow charm" every round and does like 20 damage LOL

Level 10 assassin, I had smoke bomb, venom brew and assassination. I unequipped assassination cause I was putting on a magic charmed necklace and I needed an open slot. I put necklace on, game crashed. when I restart the game, my smoke bomb and venom brew skills are all gone from skill bar and skill book LOL. So now I'm stuck with a broken character on floor 7, level 10, with nothing but assassination and magic charm and stealth to use...lets see if I can survive the game!

Yeah it definitely is a bit different from normal empty loot- it hangs almost like the game's going to crash, and then continues.
Also, I thought I reported this- if I have, forgive me :) but the terra scroll is not imbuing terra- it's imbuing vile instead. Think scroll of earthen is a bit buggy too.

Thanks for the bug reports and sorry about lack of progress. I’m working on a large bug and QoL update but it’s grown larger and taken longer than I thought. I appreciate the reports and should have everything fixed soon as well as some other new features and maybe a new class.

Thanks for the detailed reports it really makes hunting these bugs down much easier.

This is not so much a call for change but more of my bitching a bit cause of losing my thief at floor 8 or 9 several times in a roll... One thing I think is both great and extremely frustrating about the game is that quite often your chance of a successful run is luck dependent- and I'm not even talking about luck in the stat sense.
I had a super good thief, magic amulet, magical weapon, all my items enchanted... lev9, fighting 3 vampires...should be no problem right? First round, vanish fails, phantom guard fails, all three vampires got their hits in, dead...
UGGHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH!
Fine, started over, another good run, great items, very promising, floor 4, a crab landed all seven or eight hits on first round, DEEEEAAAAD.....
And then there are runs where you barely finding any equipment, trigger all the traps, and by floor 3 you know you won't make it ...and you don't...lol
SHEEEEESH!

Like I said, not that I want this changed because I think this is kinda fun in a twisted way, but man is it ever maddening at times!

Yea I for sure hear you on that and I think it’s what all great roguelikes have (a bit of luck involved) even if you prepare for everything you can still fail.

I personally try to limit it so it’s not too often (for example I think dream quest was a little guilty of this but it’s also one of my fav games).

If you ever notice something really out of balance let me know though. I think those still fall under really bad luck haha.

Heh, as maddening as it is it is actually what keeps me playing because I don't always win no matter how good at it I am LOL... But having a very good run ended by a one-hit wonder like a death ooze is almost enough reason to throw the phone across the room!!!

While I'm here, I did have a thought for something to be added to the legacy game completion reward/blessing- maybe randomly have an inheritance reward- you can even have different levels/random teers like say I finish the game with Conan, now I make a new character, the new character may get a legacy blessing like "You inherit 10% of gold from your adventurous ancestor Conan!" lol or something like that. And it can range from 5% to 20%, or even some random potions/scrolls, or a random piece of equipment. I'm just thinking that sometimes I have a real good run and end the run with like 3000 gold and alot of potions, and it's such a shame to have all that go away LOL- there should be a reward in the next run for having played such a good round!

Shining scroll, like the earlier reported terra scroll, cast void rather than what its supposed to :)

By Adventure To Fate Dev on Thursday, August 13, 2026 - 20:16

I think those are some good ideas and yes I would like to redo the system to be a bit more interesting. I am currently redoing the system to show what you earned that run as well as next runs benefit all in 1 place at the end of the run.

Celebrate what you achieved type deal.

Thanks for the scroll shout too I got that one fixed.
