Chat GPT said heading?

What happened to the ChatGPT "said" heading?
On Safari, this heading was very helpful for quickly scanning through our chat, but it seems to be gone now. I have to use VoiceOver's search feature to find the "Copy message" button and then navigate to the GPT response afterward, which isn't ideal. Has anyone else noticed this, or found a workaround?

I've noticed the same thing and it's very frustrating. That's why I started using Gemini.

but then the issue with gemini is that it frequently causes you to shift your focus and misplace it unexpectedly

On windows yes you can live view the process and the thinking step, not on the mac as it will indeed move the focus. But you can just wait without moving and generally gemini tells with aria when it's finished writing a response, though imo they should do it when the full answer is shown. Then you can just go to the edit field and vo cmd shift h until the beginning of the last answer. I have some useful shortcuts set up and I indeed like gemini more but this shows how vo handels dynamic web poorly on the mac and how even both native mac apps will make vo crash.

It has proven to be an enormous help with wide ranging research, even in free zones, and even with shopping for stuff like a keyboard. There's a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, but when isn't there one? It's even given me specific keystrokes and numbers of arrow key strokes to get through inaccessible portions of apps I needed to get through. I am amazed.

That Apple was going to work with Perplexity on its Apple Intelligence platform. I'm guessing that never panned out, since they ended up going with Google Gemini. 🤷

Yes, this has been annoying me for awhile now. If you use chrome the headings are still there. I have come up with a workaround though I've just told ChatGPT to always put a mark down heading at the beginning and end of its responses. This serves as a perfectly acceptable work around as long as it remembers to do it. Sometimes you have to keep reminding it like in the next chat or something. There's also a bug in numbered list where VoiceOver will constantly repeats the number in the middle of the list item such as "5: go to 5 Finder settings, 5 find desktop, 5." You can work around this by telling ChatGPT not to use numbered lists but stick to bulleted lists or plain text. This seems to work mostly.

Yes! Finally others are noticing this too. Guess what, if you carefully read the original tahoe beta 1 thread I reported it. Not only with numbered lists but bullet lists too where it will occasionally say bullet in the middle of whatever the list element is. It's been a year.
This is not specific to chatgpt.
