Hello, yesterday I updated to macOS Tahoe and everything is working fine except for VMware Fusion. I’m trying to run my virtual machine, but when I launch the app, the “Start” button appears, and after a few seconds of pressing this button, it changes to “Suspend,” but then it automatically switches back to “Start,” and my virtual machine does not power on. Do you have any solution? I have the most recent version of the app, which is 13.6.4. I tried ending the process from Activity Monitor, but the problem still remains. I hope someone can guide me and help me solve this issue. Thank you.

fusion
there is a bug where virtual machines crash with VoiceOver running. the workaround seems to be to turn VoiceOver off, and press space on the startup button. I could never get this to work. Broadcom acquired VMware, and they do not have a good trackrecord of fixing VoiceOver bugs. for windows 11, you can download the ISO and never activate it, it's still legal that way, and the only restriction with it is you can't change themes or wallpapers, which isn't a big deal to most. when you download windows 11, make sure you get the ARM version, as that's what macs run nowadays, and the x86 version of windows 11 is incompatible. when I had an intel mac, I ran windows 10, unactivated for six years, with no issues. this was in the Bootcamp days.
Don't use fusion guys
Broadcom really don't care at all. It's literally impossible for me to find any of the fusion / player / workstation by official sources, I have created two accounts and I am still on the validating thing error since 2024 I even talked to the support team multiple time, they give me some useless ballot number and wait 24-48 hrs for an excel sheet to role out globally (yes I am serious) twice, and still nothing.
Yeah, Broadcom are just Incompetent
I had to create an entirely new account to access the downloads too, a real arse. That having been said, it was free so worth it at the time. Not so much now. Really your only option for decent Windows support is Parallels, with all the accessibility caveats that come with that. It is a very good thing that I predominantly run Linux, but it's still disappointing.
There's UTM as well
Though if you play games, Parallels is your best bet as UTM is quite, slow for some reason.
