Braille on Apple Products

Hi all,
New braille display bug detected. If you unlock your iPhone using a passcode, in my case I use an alphanumeric code, after typing the passcode, it'll say "item not found".
If anyone has an idea on how to fix this, that would be greatly appreciated

Did you do restart? Also you might need to remove braille and reinstall it. Are you using iOS 26.5. LLC.

Yes, I just restarted. and also, yes, I have iOS 26.5.

While I am not a braille display user, the "Item Not Found" message almost sounds like the system is interpreting your inputs as navigation commands. This happens to me when I try to type something on my Mac like a web address in Safari, and I forget that I have QuickNav enabled. I wonder if when unlocking VoiceOver is defaulting to having Single Key QuickNav (or whatever the related functionality is for braille keyboards) enabled?

You were actually right! Single letter quick nav was enabled. and guess what? that fixed the issue! can confirm, they didn't break anything. looks like I didn't have to call apple support afterall! LOL

Hi Zach, fantastic news! I'm glad my frustrations with QuickNav on Mac have benefitted someone after all!
