Accessibility Comments

The latest update added full Voiceover support. I'm still in contact with the developer and already suggested another big round of fixes, so you can espect much more in the future, but the game is already playable as it is.
Terms used in the game:
PIP is the number of points for each side of the piece. Cart is when you have a piece with both sides with the same value, example: 4-4, 3-3, and so on.
Scoring requires you to rearrange your jokers so that the ones that give you more PIP comes first, then the ones that give you MULT and lastly the X MULT to multiply everything.
While double tapping and holding to move your pieces in the upgrade phase or to rearrange the jokers Voiceover doesn't give any feedback, but the developer is already aware of the accessibility actions and I'm sure that it will be improved in the future. but it can be already done if you have experience with it. I can rearrange everything perfectly already.
When playing a piece that can be played in either side, you need to swipe left from your hand, you will find the buttons either to play on the left or right side of the piece.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

The game still doesn't have sound effects, but it's already in the list of suggestions, as well as haptic feedback. As I said, the developer is doing the research to implement the accessibility actions and the game will keep getting better with future updates. I was able to reach round 16 today. Played for more than 5 hours. I'm addicted.
If you like it, please buy the tip to support the developer, he's so kind!

Is there any sort of tutorial for the game. I was looking around the menus and I did not see the directions on how to play. In addition, I have a domino down let's say six, four and then I have another domino that I can play that, is 6 2. I assume it's placing the sixes together, visually but it doesn't annouce auditorially the number 2 6 6 4. Is there a way to get auditory announcements to match the visual presentation?

When I open the app, voiceover doesn’t read anything to me. Flicking and swiping does nothing.

The game speaks for me. It is in landscape orientation. I haven't worked out how to equip jokers yet, but I really like it a lot.

Hey everyone!
The game doesn't have a tutorial yet, but I believe it will be added in the future. But the gameplay is not too hard, just play a few rounds and you will learn everything.
@David glad to know you like it! when you purchase a joker from the shop it is automatically equiped. just remember that in later stages you will need to reorder them to increase your score, since they trigger from left to right. So you should have the ones that give you extra PIP first, then MULT and lastly ones that give you X MULT, since in later rounds you will need to score more than 100000 to advance.
To sell a joker just double tap it and flick right, there will be a sell button.
happy gaming!

I also agree that there should be a tutorial. How do you score points in this game? I figured out how to put the dominoes together but sometimes when I put them together, they don’t add points to my score. If anyone could answer my question I think I’d be able to play this game.

Also, I’m not seeing your shop to purchase jokers from. When I try clicking on the menu, it doesn’t do anything. Is the shop located somewhere else?

Hey everyone!
The developer already confirmed that a tutorial is already in the works, but there's now a text guide explaining everything for you to learn all the mechanics in the game.
You can find it here:

@lucky101 I believe that the game is not launching for you because you're running an older iOS version. There's a workaround:
You can play the game by using any browser. try to open this link and see if it works for you.

I've been playing this thing for hours and I'm still learning what some of the bands and materials do, ☺️ not to mention figuring out which jokers go with how I'm playing.

I emailed the dev about my issue and submitted an update for apple to approval that should fix the issue.
Thanks for the link.

β€’ VoiceOver now better supports choosing a chain side when placing a piece and discarding pieces, and highlights selected items on lists of pieces (upgrades, boosters packs, discards). β€’ Added sound effects (configurable in the Settings page). β€’ Added haptic feedback (configurable in the Settings page). β€’ Reduced app download size. If you have any feedback, suggestions, or find any issues with the game, reach out at help@dominogue.com! Thank you for playing Dominogue!

Firstly, awesome game. Got so addicted that my phone had to almost die for me to get off of it. (Then, the game got a little stuck when trying to buy one of the packs in the shop.)
Secondly, suggestion for the Copy Cat joker, if it is not already something that can be seen, but maybe it should show "Copy Cat -- (Joker Name)" because right now it just shows the copycat text, so you can't tell what it is copying.
I really enjoyed Balatro, and to have a game very similar to it (to spice things up), but mobile, is amazing!

I kind of wish VO would mention when something is triggered for example, a joker or what triggers something as it's happening. Kind of hard to tell what's happening during the process of scoring. Just my thoughts but love this all the same. Reminds me of joker poker.

This update introduces a number of VoiceOver compatibility improvements: β€’ Introducing: Chain Scoring Summary, a list of all the scoring events triggered by the pieces and jokers that applied to your chain. This will appear after scoring each chain, and you can choose to display it or skip it on Settings. By default, it is on when VoiceOver is in use. β€’ More predictable navigation: placing a piece on the chain moves focus back to your hand, and screen changes and modals bring focus to their main heading. β€’ Descriptive announcements when playing a piece (including in which side it was placed) and discarding pieces. β€’ Improved labels and navigation in the shop and during upgrades. This is part of a series of accessibility improvements that are coming to Dominogue. Stay tuned for more! If you have any feedback, suggestions, or find any issues with the game, reach out at help@dominogue.com!

Just tried the latest update and love it tons. Looking forward to what's yet to come.

I tried playing in the browser. Put down 6-4, it says it could be rotated. I hit the button to rotate, nothing happened. What's the deal with rotating pieces then?
