Audiobook creation with ElevenLabs

Hello, I’d like to create an audiobook using ElevenLabs. It’s a travel guide for my holiday, currently in Word or EPUB format, that I want to convert into audio.

Since it will include many foreign names, I’d like to know if it’s possible to apply language tags to individual words (similar to what can be done in Word) so that the voice pronounces them correctly. In other words, can ElevenLabs handle language-specific pronunciation based on document tags, like screen readers such as JAWS or NVDA do? What are some tips for getting the best result? And is the Studio interface accessible to screen readers?

Pronunciation for foreign words seems to be handled just fine by the app. You need subscription for audio book creation I suppose. Sorry I can not be of much help.

Knut, you will need a subscription. 11 labs does have a dictionary that corrects pronunciation if required. I have created an audio book using 11 labs. The interface is, IMO, really disappointing. It can be navigated, but it is a royal pain in the anatomy. Or, as Applevis would say, the application is accessible, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use. The sample of my audio book is available on songatmidnight.com . I narrated the dedication & intro, 11 labs did the rest. Please note that this is a Christian blog, and a Christian book, so if that's a problem...
