We are proud to announce the results of the second annual AppleVis Golden Apple Awards .

The AppleVis Golden Apple Awards were launched in 2012 as a way to recognize the best apps, products, and developers of a given year - as voted on by the AppleVis community.

The 2013 AppleVis Golden Apples consist of awards in the following categories: Best iOS App, Best iOS Game, Best Mac App, Best Third Party Hardware or Accessory, and Developer of the Year.

The Golden Apple Award for best iOS App went to MBraille, a feature-rich Braille app.  Considering that not all of the AppleVis community uses Braille, our users’ support of the app is all the more meaningful. MPaja - the developer behind MBraille and several other accessible apps - was also voted Developer of the Year.

Papa Sangre II, a wildly popular audio adventure game, was voted to be the best iOS game of 2013.

For the second year running, the feature-packed and accessible Mac OS X Twitter client YoruFukurou took the award for Best Mac App.

For the best 3rd Party Hardware or Accessory, the AppleVis community chose the Aftershokz Bluez bone-conduction Bluetooth headphones.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all of the winners of the 2013 AppleVis Golden Apple Awards.
