Apple has today released iOS 26.4.2 and iPadOS 26.4.2, bringing unspecified bug fixes and security updates.
As iOS 26.4.2 and iPadOS 26.4.2 were not distributed to external testers prior to their release, we do not have any information on whether they contain any accessibility fixes for blind, deaf blind, or low vision users at the time of writing. However, as these updates appear to have been released to address a small number of specific issues, we do not expect them to contain any such fixes.

Going to get it right now
Iβm going to go ahead and get it right now for my iPhone 15. Iβll need to charge up my iPhone SE third generation to give it some more battery before I can go ahead and update that but Iβll let you guys know how it goes. Since itβs just security, I hope it will be fine. Should be though.
Everything looks good on my eye see
Everything looks good in my iPhone SE 2022. I havenβt updated iPhone 15 yet as Iβm charging it. I will come back here and let you know how it is on there. Granted itβs just a security update but anything can happen. Thankfully, this update went off without a hitch.
About to update right now.
Iβm about to update the iPhone, will keep you guys posted.
