Hi all.
Another Mail question. How do I get the size of email on my mac? Google says control clicking on an account, I can't seem to do that. My local mail in ~library/mail is 4.31 GB, so that's something, but I've got a couple IMAP accounts I'd like to know the size of too. I assume the stuff in ~/library/mail is local stuff imported from Thunderbird on Windows, and those IMAP accounts are separate.

Used space on the IMAP server and on disk
Are you looking for the used space on the IMAP server or the used space on your local disk? These are likely two different figures.
To find out about the used space on an IMAP server, the approach you found via Google is basically correct:
In Apple Mail, control-click (or right-click) any IMAP folder, e.g. "Inbox" of the account you want to check. This brings up a context menu. On the context menu, choose "Get Account Info". The "Account Info" dialog has a tab named "Quota Limits" where you can find the used storage size on the IMAP server.
Otherwise, to find out about storage size of messages on your computer for a certain account, you've already been looking in the right place: ~/Library/Mail/V10 contains one or more folders named by unique IDs of 36 characters length. Each of these uniquely named folders contains the messages for one of your mail accounts.
Each uniquely named folder contains subfolders which are named like the account's mailboxes, followed by the ".mbox" suffix. To identify the account, check for a mailbox which only exists in that account. For example, in my case, there's only one account which has a mailbox named "Newsletters", so I'd check for a folder named "Newsletters.mbox". Now that you've identified the account, navigate up and check the size of the uniquely named folder.
Re: Servers.
If I get into the sidebar or whatever it is with the mailboxes, e.g. "all mailboxes", and the accounts, right clicking, VO-shift-m, doesn't work. I just get a tone, no menus. That's the first thing I tried. I have no idea how you'd ctrl-right click with that. I don't have a mouse or a trackpad, so neither of those are an option.
Mailboxes table
Are you interacting with the mailboxes table, focusing on the mailbox, and pressing VO-Shift-M? That's what I just tried, and it works for me.
I thought I was.
But let me go and try that quick.
Huh! I guess I wasn't. Is there a way to get a total? For example, in my main ISP, I see 7.3% used, but the used number seems to be for whatever mailbox I'm on in the table, e.g. inbox, sent, archive, and so on. Can I just get a summary of total space used and total space available?
