Is it just me or is the iOS keyboard not performing smoothly. As I am typing, the VO feedback of letters is not always complete. Sometimes I only hear part of the letter. I have to check to see what has been entered. Also, while sliding around the keyboard, I seem to here a lot of popping and crackling. I am running iOS 26.3.1 on a iPhone 17E. Your thoughts please.

The bug was fix on iOS 26.4. It suppose to be more faster and responsive. Long live cats. No issues at this time with 16 pro max.
Sounds Like Speech Cutting Off
Based on your description, I rather think the issue is something with VoiceOver speech cutting off. What language/voice are you using?
Voice Recommendation
I have tried both Siri American voice 1 and Samantha enhanced. It occurs on both. Michael, do you recommend a particular voice? Thanks

I had issues with this. Check accessibility, keyboard and make sure full keyboard access is off. Some how when I installed 26, it turn it on and affected VO. Long live cats.
Bug
It's a bug that started with iOS 26. I don't think everyone has it, but that's how Apple bugs work.
