Hi everyone,
I just launched my new app, Giggle Pops, on the App Store and wanted to share it here with the AppleVis community.
Giggle Pops is a gentle, playful bubble-popping experience designed to be simple, fun, and accessible. It was created with accessibility in mind, including support for VoiceOver, so blind and visually impaired players can enjoy the experience too. The app is especially great for babies, toddlers, and anyone who enjoys calming sensory-style play, cheerful sounds, and easy interaction.
Each bubble can be tapped and popped for musical feedback, creating a light and playful experience without pressure, timers, or complicated mechanics. I wanted to make something that feels joyful, relaxing, and welcoming.
Iβd truly love any feedback from the AppleVis community, especially around the accessibility experience, VoiceOver support, and overall usability.
You can download Giggle Pops here:

Thanks so much for taking a look, and I hope you enjoy it.

Just a little warning for peple wanting to try it.
It's not free, I haven't tried it cause i don't need it but I just thought I'd let people know.
Lovely! A few thoughts.
I have no children, but love soft soothing sounds and whimsical experiences, so was eager to try this out. It is indeed very nice, and the care for accessibility is immediately obvious, but a few things might make it easier/more fun.
First, and most important, you might want to make use of the VoiceOver hints feature to make it more obvious what someone can do to begin popping bubbles. I started with double tapping them, simple and straight forward, which did work. But I thought that the only way to pop them more quickly was to turn VoiceOver off completely, which turned out not to be the case. I was trying to figure out how to just hover over bubbles, to do some of the things mentioned in the description, when I realized you could in fact just double tap, hold, and then move your fingers around for the quick popping I thought could only be done with VoiceOver disabled. A simple hint would take care of this.
I would also love to know what some of the other sounds mean. The popping is obvious, as are the notes the bubbles produce. But what is the high-pitched squeak? Or the more rapid popping sound? I could not get these to play with any consistency, so I could never quite map their meaning. I am not as sure how to solve this, and it doesn't necessarily need solving for--the app is perfectly usable as is, just things I wonder!
All in all, I love the way you've approached accessibility. It's clear you put a lot of love and care into this little toy, and I have already sent it to a few folks who either have or work with children--plus a few others who, like me, like soft and pretty things! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback
Thank you so much for the feedback on the game. Iβm so glad you enjoyed it. The rapid clicking sound is the sound you hear when you press and hold bubbles as that pushes them. I think Iβm gonna get rid of that though in the next update because itβs a bit harsh on the ears and I thought I removed it before I sent out the app but somehow it made it back in lol. The other sounds youβll hear her when the bubbles merge touch each other or move around. The blinking sound will happen when they are giggling, and then there is a sneeze sound effect that sounds like an upward swoop which you may be hearing as well. I genuinely appreciate your feedback and if you have a moment, if you would not mind posting it in the apps section that would be wonderful!
