From what I understand, it’s a visual assistance service in the same general space as Aira — you connect with a live agent who helps you navigate, read things, figure out your surroundings, and handle day-to-day stuff through your phone’s camera. So, pretty straightforward idea, but still super useful when you need it.
What caught my attention is that it seems to be around 40% cheaper than Aira, which honestly made me stop and look twice. Not saying cheaper automatically means better, but in a service like this, price does matter, especially for people who’d want to use it regularly.
So now I’m wondering: has anyone here used WeASSIST before? How was it compared to Aira or other similar services? And if you haven’t tried it, would the lower price make you consider giving it a shot?

Doubletap
I heard about it on Doubletap, and I might just have it around on my phone, not subscription, just the free mins. Between Aira and WeAssist and BME, I might have all the free mins I might ever need.
Competition is great.
competition is good
That’s actually a pretty nice position to be in. Having Aira, WeASSIST, and BME as backup options means more flexibility, and I agree — competition is good for users. If you ever try WeASSIST, I’d be curious to hear how it compares in practice.
Pretty good
I actually tried it for the first time a few days ago and it was very helpful. The cheaper price is a huge advantage and the service seems to be more professional than other similar apps I've tried before
