I find it very aggravating when I use a popup button in an iphone app to select a value and voiceover jumps to the top of the screen and I have to go back to where I was — sometimes very far down the page. It happens on popup buttons, tooltip info buttons, etc. How does everyone deal with this? Is it an Apple bug or are the app developers not doing something right?

Keep upgrading at every opportunity until you upgrade to an operating system version that no longer has this bug. . After that, do not upgrade again unless and until others have confirmed the newer version does not have the focus jumping bug. Repeat as needed.

Long standing bug
This has been an issue since iOS 15. I doubt it’ll be fixed at this point.
Checked around
Apple allows developers to control where focus goes when things close. I wonder if everyone is just sitting back pointing at Apple rather than taking the initiative to make their apps better.
Also, what forum does Apple use, if any, to communicate their roadmap for stuff like this?
