Description of App

At its heart, Everweave is a next-gen text RPG inspired by the spirit of the classic tabletop roleplaying games. That means no scripts, no fixed paths - just you, your character, and a world that reacts to whatever you decide. An AI Dungeon Master guides the adventure, weaving together characters, places, and challenges that respond to you in real time. Whether you crave grand fantasy or grounded medieval life, the story follows your imagination. Want to lead armies in an epic war of gods and dragons? You can get there. Build a quiet life as a farmer, innkeeper, or wandering bard? Have at it. Hunt treasure through crumbling dungeons, or simply sit by the fire with friends? Every choice is yours to make, and every outcome is unique. This is only the beginning - Everweave is in it's early stage and still growing rapidly. Join now, explore, and help us shape the future of this new world. Terms of use: https://everweave.ai/#/terms

Accessibility Comments

Ok, so there are some accessibility issues with the app, but you can work around most of them. There’s only one spot in the onboarding process where I had to turn on screen recognition to tap a Yes button. I honestly can’t remember what that option was for, but you’ll know it when you run into it.

There are also some unlabeled buttons once you’re inside the game. After the text field where you type what you want to do, the send button is directly below the text field. After that comes your inventory, then character, and finally what your character has equipped, all in that order.

You might get stuck on the dice rolling screen after hitting send. If that happens, try turning off VoiceOver and looking for a close button somewhere near the top right. For me, though, I usually had to just close and reopen the app to get unstuck.

I’ve only been playing for a couple of hours so far, but I’ve been chatting with one of the mods on their Discord server and they seem really receptive to feedback from our community. So if you run into accessibility issues, definitely let them know. They actually seem great and genuinely open to improving things.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Other Comments

As a huge DND fan, I absolutely love this app. I’ve been playing with it for a couple of hours now and can’t get enough of it, aside from the accessibility issues. The good news is that they genuinely seem interested in fixing those.

There’s music, atmospheric sound effects, and your adventures can go on forever. It gets especially interesting when you’re talking with an NPC. If you get a little mouthy with them, they’ll get mouthy right back. If you’re trying to be friendly, you can actually build real relationships. From what I can tell, you can have full conversations with them and the NPCs really start to take on lives of their own.

Their Discord community is very active and they seem very interested in getting feedback from our community, especially around accessibility. Please note that this works on PC as well. If you’re using an iPhone, you can only sign up or sign in using your Apple account right now. That’s already been reported to their senior leadership team.

You get a certain number of free chats to start. Once you run out, you can either wait until the next month or purchase more. You can also use my code to get an extra 60 messages. I think that’s the amount, and the code will only be active for three days.

Accessibility issues aside, this is a whole lot of fun. If you want to join, you can use my code here:

So what really impresses me is when you want to investigate something or do something regardless of the language you use, the chat will automatically detect what role is needed to be made for that specific action like perception check or intimidation role if you’re trying to intimidate an NPC. They have really done a good job with this. PS, it does work better on PC even though there are also unlabeled buttons. This is probably going to be my new addiction lol.

Saw upon experimenting with this app more, I realized you actually don’t get stuck in the dice screen and you don’t have to close and reopen. That screen only stays open while the DM is doing its thing. Once the DM‘s responses are ready they populate back into the normal screen. The responses however do take some time so be patient 😊.
