a few issues with the latest Apple Watch update

Hi all,

I updated my watch to the latest OS version recently, and have since noticed a few minor issues. I'm curious if anyone has noticed these as well. Maybe I'm just missing something.

First, I used to be able to use the Apple watch keyboard, but when I enter a text field, where I would normally find letters to type, it says "You can enable dictation in settings." When I press the "change input method" button, it continues to just say dictation active.

The second issue is that I don't see an option to end my workout, so I always have to use Siri. It was usually on page 2, but page 2 is just my activity rings now and it is nowhere on page 1. At least, not when I swipe right and left. Maybe VoiceOver just isn't recognizing it and I have to drag my finger around the screen, I'm not sure.

I know these are minor things but they're a bit of an inconvenience, so I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing them.

Hello,

I have just tried composing a message with my Series 10 Apple Watch running the latest OS and the keyboard appears no problem allowing me to enter text on the watch itself. No problem with the Mail App either.

On your second issue, when doing a workout there are two pickers on screen you can adjust. During a workout swipe until VoiceOver says Session Info, this is the one you will want to get to the first page to end your workout. Hope this helps.

That's interesting that the keyboard works on your end. Mine is the series 9, I'm not sure if that matters.

I do see the session info, that's on page 1. When I swipe up to page 2, which is where I used to find the option to end the workout, I just see my activity rings. Only thing I see on page 1 is the time of my workout and maybe calories burned? Haven't looked too closely.

I have just tried a workout on my Series 10 and here’s how I was able to end the workout once complete. At the end of my workout I swipe right until VoiceOver says Session Info followed by the current page one. I flick up here to navigate to the second page. Here I have an End Button among other controls. Double tapping End works for me.

Thanks for the input! I finally found the end workout option. To the right of session info, there's another area where it shows pages. That's where I was swiping up by mistake.

Still having issues with the keyboard though.
