I listened to the Applevis podcast on this issue, but I still can’t figure out what exactly I’m missing. I have downloaded Soundflower, installed the software and followed the instructions in this podcast to the best of my ability. I still can not get my voice and VO to record into the same recording. . Right now, the built in mic is picking up VO speech, and I don’t want that. I’m using Amadeus pro. The gentleman in this podcast was using Audacity. I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’m actually working on a podcast I would like to post here, but need to get around this first. Any help would be appreciated. thanks much.

In Audacity, I had to set the input source (the aggregate device) to use three channels. I don't use the audio editor you do, but if you can specify the channels, that might be the problem. I also use headphones while recording to avoid VO being picked up by the microphone, and therefore find a USB mic or USB sound card to be very helpful.

If you have sound flower I go over how to do this with out too much fuss . You don't have to use all the software provided on the page but it works and works well. http://www.tffppodcast.com/how-to-broadcast-or-podcast-using-osx-with-out-too-much-hassle/ Note that I"m using gb 6.5 so I would not know how to do this in gb newest version. Take care.
Marrie, I read the instructions on the link you posted, and it's still a no go. I think I have tried everything I can think of at this point. I wonder if I might have the wrong version of SoundFlower.

Well, it seems I have figured out my issue of not being able to record my voice, and system audio. The bottom line is that I can only get it to work with Audacity, so I will use that when I want to do projects like this. This brings up a Multi Track question. I was playing around with Audacity yesterday, and I haven't figured out yet how to add a new track, and time it with what I'm trying to do. Here is my example. I created a random voice track, and I have been trying to mix several bits of music with it. Each bit of music, I want to put into a new track. the problem is that whenever I try this, the new track does not line up with the rest of the project. The track always starts at the beginning of the project, and I can't figure out how to make it start where I want it to start. I also have this problem using Amadeus Pro. Any suggestions? Thanks.
