enter key suddenly not working on NLS Ereader display.

Good afternoon to all,
Hope everyone is well. I notice that as of earlier today, my enter key is not sending messages or say pressing enter on a search box like it should. I am running IOS 26.2.1 and using an nls EReader 20 cell display. I have unpaired and repaired the display, and did a soft reset of the iphone to no avail. Another interesting thing is, when typing in my passcode to unlock the phone it now says no item found. To my knowledge nothing about the phone or commands have changed on my end. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

Try turning off Single Letter QuickNav by pressing space with q and dot 7.

Thanks for the suggestion I tried that and no change, also its like the on screen keyboard is there, but not there even though i have show on screen keyboard set to off. This is quite strange.

Thanks for the input it worked after a few presses of that command. Should I reassign that since on a braille display I do not see me ever using that and braille is my main method of using phone.

Have you tried resetting your VoiceOver settings? That’s gotten me out of a lot of weird things since that became a new feature as a iOS 26. It’s great that Apple finally added that to iPhones. I don’t know if that would work to fix anything with boilers place but I know that voiceover drives a Braille display. I don’t use bread with any of my devices, but I just thought I would suggest that.
