Hello,
I've found a bug with the site, but I'm unsure if I should post it here or under the iOS beta forum, since that's what I'm running.
I have an iPhone 16 pro max running the 26.3 RC & I've noticed that when a user posts a comment, Voiceover reads it twice.
Is this expected behavior?

Not all sites experience this but have noticed it too
This doesn't happen on all sites. Some trigger others comments just read the one time. Don't know what causes it though, It happens intermittently.
I knew the trigger but forgot
It can happens under a specific condition on all sites, I think restarting the phone is a good first step. Sorry can't help more for the moment, though I know exactly what you're talking about and have experienced this bug too on several occasions.
Not AppleVis and not beta
I too am yet to figure out what the trigger is, but it’s not unique to AppleVis; and it’s happening on 26.2.1 as well. Pretty sure it goes back before that too.
I appear to be having the same bug.
Not applevis specific, nor is it specific to ios26, but I do occasionally have elements read out to me twice, heading levels also get stripped out, though they remain as headings. A restart of the safari app fixes it, in most cases.
iOS 17, possibly earlier...
I remember seeing this back in iOS 17, but it's possible that it started even earlier in iOS' history.
Just restart VO
I've experienced this before. Just restart VO to fix that.
Restarting VO doesn’t work
Restarting the phone does however. Furthermore Brian is right. I am running iOS 18 and I am experiencing this bug from time to time.
For me it is also not limited to Safari. Other apps which use the web for their display have this bug as well. I can’t explain exactly what I mean by this because I lack the technical knowledge. there are some applications though that resemble a webpage.
