Hi everyone, I have been working on a very very early basically pre-beta version audio ludo game. Its hosted in replit if anyone knows that platfrom. It works fine on iOS in terms of navigation, everything is accessible and speaks.
This is my first attempt at anything, please try it out and tell me what you think of it. Eventually, I'd like to convert it into a full iOS app, but this works well as it also supports keyboard commands so you can play on a mac or pc.
It has online functionality, which is still being tested and worked on. I have added a change log further down in the app so you can see the changes and give me feedback on version numbers. You can also play against the computer to get a feel for the game. I'll be releasing a lot of updates while I work out what I want this game to be.
Anyway, all kinds of feedback are welcome, here is the link:

This is great
I played the game whilst commuting to work this morning and really like it a lot. To reach a wider audience, I encourage you to post it on www.audiogames.net. In the audiogames.net forum, there is a new page titled "play testing", where developers like yourself post information about titles they are working on. I think this is the perfect place for you to post about this project. Good luck, and I look forward to future updates.
Glad you like it!!
Hi David,
Thank you very much for the positive feedback, due to the way its running and server costs as they currently are, I'm not going to post it anywhere else just yet, but thank you very much, when its more ready and I can handle the server pricing, I'll certainly post it there.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, in its current state, you can add it to your home screen as an app, it should give you better functionality.
I hope it can keep providing you with entertainment, and I've released another update this morning, nothing major, but I'm working on it.
I've got many plans for the future, but I'll have to keep it small and server dependent for now.
Problems
First of all, kudos to the developer, it's really fun. However, I'm having two problems with NVDA on my Windows PC. 1. When I start a new game, the screen remains blank and I can't select anything. I have to close the game and reopen it. I can find the already running game under "Active Games." I select it, and then it works. 2. I have the problem that I can only see the position of my own pieces by pressing the Tab key, but I can't see the opponent's pieces that way. It works on Safari on my iPhone; there I can see where the opponent's pieces are currently located. However, the announcements are generally too fast there, meaning I don't see which space my opponent has moved to because the current announcement is interrupted by the next one. Perhaps the announcements could be delayed a bit so that you always immediately see where each piece has moved. One more minor point of criticism, but it's just my personal impression: I don't really like the sound of the dice. Doesn't quite sound like a cube to me. But otherwise, good work, and I'm looking forward to the next updates. I hope it was understandable, as I translated this message with Google.
Feedback
Hi,
Thank you very much for the feedback, I'll certainly take note of all of it.
At the moment, I'm now focusing mainly on the iOS app, I'm finding that from my testing, itβs working very well and has features such as haptic feedback as well.
While itβs not ready yet, I'm having a lot more luck on it, so I'm going to shift my focus to there for now.
When itβs ready, there will certainly be an opportunity for people to try it out using TestFlight , so just stay tuned for more updates. If I can, I'll make some changes to the currently available web version, I'm aware of how fast it speaks, that's been the pain point at the moment, trying to correct that so its just right, but again, the version I was testing is a lot better for that as well.
Again, thanks for the feedback, its appreciated, I always take all feedback well, as without it, you simply can't improve a product
