Dear users recently had migrated to Apple's native mail application, but I'm facing one issue. Whenever I want to send an attachment to a particular mail ID. I could not able to attach the files or I could not find the attach button. Even I use screen recognition, what is the solution for this?
Comments
Copy the file in the files app.
Paste file in the mail app after copying.
Attaching files in Apple Mail.
On Mac:
VO-M to go into the menu, go to files, go down to "Attach Files" activate it, work through the options in there if you have to change any;
there is a sub-menu that allows you to set folder/directory to look in, it will default to something which you will see/speak.
You may have to interact with the last table/group before Choose and then when actually find the file, do choose and it will get attached.
This sounds easier than it is, because you may end up in default home area or in Documents by default, or in Downloads and it may stay there when you attach in the future.
Also you can sometimes type the first few letters of your filename and it will actually find it (sometimes) and then do choose.
Anyway, I have to do it all the time and you'll get used to the occasionally dynamic behavior of it, but it can be done without too much trouble.

Adding attachments
I'm experiencing this issue too, I can't find the attach file button in the iOS mail app; and there is no VO rotor to attach files unlike in previous versions of iOS.
Perhaps this is a known accessibility issue in iOS 26.2.x or something...
Mental Model of Sharing Files Using Mail in iOS
You don't attach files in Mail in iOS. You share things by Mail, or Messages, or WhatsApp, orDropbox, or⦠you get the idea.
This is a mental model Apple uses in iOS so that you're not hunting around for files, songs, videos, photos, etc. when attaching content to an e-mail.
So, to send a photo in Mail, go to the Photos app and share the photo. When the share sheet appears, choose Mail. You can then send the photo by Mail with a subject, multiple addresses and so on.
To share a file, open the Files app, swipe down on the file you want until you hear "Share". The share sheet will come up and you can then share it by Mail.
To share a song in Apple Music, open the Music app, locate the album artwork and choose Share from the options. You can then send a link to your song by Mail or WhatsApp or whatever you like in the share sheet.
On mac OS, you can directly attach files in Mail because the Finder sits under the OS and appears when you open, save or attach files. Since there is no Finder on iOS, this is why the mental models for attaching files are different on iOS vs. mac OS.
HOpe this clears things up.
But still not satisfied
I am okay with the suggestion. Thank you for workaround, but I'm not satisfied because suddenly she just want to compose a mail and add attachments. So male app should be flexible for that and that attach button should be there. I feel.
Re: Mental model for attachments
Yes you can share something to make it an attachment, but what if you want to attach multiple files?

Sharing multiple items with iOS
This can be done, though I will admit it is a touch time consuming. Steps below:
1. In your Files application on iOS, from the top-left corner, swipe right until you land on 'More' button. Tap on that.
2. Tap on select.
3. Tap on each item you want 'selected'.
4. Tap 4 fingers near the bottom of your device to jump to the very bottom, then swipe left until you land on share. Tap on that.
5. Now you can choose how to share from the share sheet.
Notes:
1. When I say 'Tap' I of course mean a 'double tap'.
2. If the files you have selected (see: Step 3 above) have not been downloaded to your device, a download will initiate once you tap on the 'Share' button (see: Step 4).
HTH.
a slightly more cumbersome solution
I also noticed this change, I didn't exactly notice if it happened with the latest iPhone software update; I have the second to last one. However, my suggestion is a bit more cumbersome: when you are writing an email address, therefore from the Apple Mail app, after entering the subject and you are going to the body of the message to be able to write, when the keyboard is open, insert the cursor into the field with the insertion point at the beginning, and then triple-click with one finger and you will feel a selection window, where various buttons will appear: such as select, pair, add the link, photo, attachments, in short, the buttons that were there before, by tapping on add attachment to go to file as before and select the attachments you want to send. Otherwise, from the Files app you have to select the attachments you want and then share them, so obviously to select click on the more button in the top left, and then select the documents, then doing share with mail. The other solution that I recently brought myself, I connected my email address in this case iCloud by configuring it on Gmail, so that I also receive notifications with the sound that I otherwise did not receive until now.
How i now do it
I've been doing it this way on both my mac and iOS without any issues; copy the file from it's source, then paste it in the compose field.usually at the very top, or at the bottom, after the Message.
