As a student, I think I'll love Apple Creator Studio

I've always wanted to see logic pro interface but would have never wantedto pay the $200 price just to see how the accessibility is. Now I will finally try it!

I'm not a fan of sub based models. I'd really rather pay up front and then for subsequent upgrades should the newer features be tempting. It's too easy for developers to take the sub and do nothing.

In this case, and as long as there is the option to buy the apps outright, it's a really good way to allow us to try these expensive apps. I was lucky enough to get the student pack bought for me including logic, final cut, main stage etc, which they continue to update and, if I'm honest, I continue not to use.

Let us know how you get on with logic pro. If I'm honest, I'm a bit scared of it. I'm a pretty solid musician and would like to compose more, but the complexity of doing so stands in my way.

wil also be interested to see how AI is included in the future. It might be I can tell Siri to lay down a fat beat whilst I spit some killer rhymes.

PEACE!

so, to purchase the Apple Creators Bundel, just for one app, logic pro is disengenious. apple have put a lot of work in the other apps. fiinalcut pro, compresser, mainstage, motion, pixalmater pro, which i intend to purchase outright after my three month trial ends, and special versions of iwork apps, just for subscribers. pages, numbers, keynote, and yes, freeform. what i have learned from, downloading this bundle is since i own most pro apps outright, they to my releef, are not overwritten. the sounds still work in the subscription version(s), the additional content for mainstage, logic pro, finalcut pro, compresser, and motion work, without redownloading. there is a bug with the download. VoiceOver says, apple creator studio, repeatidly , with no navagation possible, while in the Mac app store. I will be reporting this bug, through the relevant beta channels, as with personal experience, Apple fixes most bugs i report.

Daniel:

Curious, do you have some sight? I'm totally blind. If you don't I'd be interested to hear a bit about what you're doing with Pixelmator.

Re: Logic.

Honestly, Logic is the DAW I've gotten on with the best. Logic Band has a free getting started course. Logic also has a free three month trial, unless they've changed that now that it's a subscription.

But if you don't want to bother with Logic, get Garage Band. The free Logic course works pretty much the same, just ignore the Logic specific setup stuff. The basics of moving around and recording and all of that are the same. Logic just has a lot more stuff than GB. But in fact, if you don't turn on advanced mode in Logic, or whatever it's called, Logic is a lot like GB, I think you just get more sounds and synths and the like.
