I saw a post on Facebook that said we could use voice isolation when recording in the Voice Memos app. I can't get this to work. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with this? I'm using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I'm running iOS 26.2. The following are the steps that I've been using to attempt to get this to work.
1. Start a recording in the Voice Memos app.
2. Enter the Control Center and double-tap on Services in Use.
3. Choose the Voice Isolation option.
For some reason, when I choose Voice Isolation, it won't actually select the option. Like I said earlier, I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten this to work. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I got it to work on my end
Hi,
I got it to work on my end. I performed the steps above and it worked with no errors.
Re I Got It To Work On My End
I'm glad you got it working. Are you running iOS 26.2?
Make sure spacial is off
Make sure you are not recording in spacial format.
Go to iOS settings > apps > Voice Memos and under recording options make sure spacial is not selected.

Re Make Sure Spacial Is Off
Thank you so much. That fixed it. I forgot that spacial was on. As soon as I turned it off, everything worked as it should. I love this feature!
Spatial?
I want to know what this does now, is it just regular stereo audio or something better?
Asking about spatial audio?
Pseudo-3-D? That's how I would describe it. It cannot capture audio from above or below.
