Hi, I seem to be having an issue with subscription settings. I disabled my subscriptions several years ago and everything was fine as I was getting applevis updates from twitter. However, in the past day or so without my having changed any settings my subscriptions have become reactivated and I am receiving emails when app comments are posted to apps that I have commented on in the past. I have gone into my account and disabled subscriptions again but I am still receiving emails when comments are posted. So, can the staff please look at why this has happened? I don't want to receive emails from applevis I am quite happy with twitter updates. Also, is there a way I can manage my subscriptions so I can unsubscribe from everything on the site that my email has been subscribed to? thanks.

Alex, We’ve recently had to make some changes to flush out a bug with the subscription feature, so this is why these might have been re-enabled on your account. Having just checked your account, you had missed the one setting which turns them off completely, which means that you would have started receiving alerts for the 80+ specific posts that you have subscribed to in the past. This has now been reset, so you should no longer receive these emails. You, and others, can always update your subscription settings via your account page. Here’s a direct link that should take anybody who is logged in to the relevant page: http://www.applevis.com/user/me/subscriptions

Hi, thanks for turning them off completely, just a question though, how do I see a list of everything I am subscribed to so I can remove those subscriptions? I see settings for controlling when they are sent etc, but can't see a list of everything I am subscribe to.
The page linked to above contains links titled Pages/Threads and Content Types. Following those links will take you to a list of your current subscriptions for each and allow you to cancel any. Based upon what you said in your initial post, I took the liberty of removing all of your past subscriptions.

Hi david that's great thanks, you saved me having to go through and delete them all.
