Hi all.
Any tips on getting info in Transmission? I have a table with four rows which obviously are for the four torrents I've got going. But I just get it reading image a couple of times and blank columns for the rest of the row. So I can't see what torrent I'm on, let alone what they're doing or such. This also means I can't delete them, stop them, and so on.
I did get it to show me total transfer for the current session, so I can at least see that it's downloading something and how much it's downloaded. If there's no good way to do this, does anybody have a more accessible torrent client recommendation? I don't do a ton of torrents, but I do them now and again, and it would be nice to get more information on what's going on and to know what torrent I'm picking if I want to delete one or what have you.
I don't see anything in preferences that would help, but maybe I'm missing something?

Potential fix
I’ve never used transmission before (still don’t know what it is) but I think I might have a possible solution. Try navigating to the blank columns and reading by character or word. This fixed the issue for me in a couple of plugins which had native UIs. Of course, the issue might be completely unrelated, in which case, the best thing I can do is wish you luck.
That didn't work.
But thanks for the suggestion! It just sees the text as blank.
Transmission is a torrent client. So if you want to grab something like LibreOffice or larger things from archive.org, you can click on a torrent link and have it download from multiple places at once, assuing people are offering it. Some Linux distros are distributed that way too.
Ar matey!🤠
When you've interacted with the table and VO is focused on a torrent, which is read as image, simply press Command plus i and a menu will pop up with all the info you're looking for. Enjoy sailing the seven seas ye Scalliwag!😏
One more thing.
Actually two more…
Command plus delete to remove torrent, and VO plus M will get you to your standard menus… File, edit, etc. you can do a lot from those menus.🤠 hope that helps ya scurvy scoundrel… I'm running out of pirate references! Lol god bless!
Thanks!
Ah! I can even make that work with me hook hand matey!
You know what's funny though? It really is all archive.org stuff these days. Mind you I've sailed the high seas a time or two. But now I'm just into weird stuff like old 78s. You can just hit archive.org for that kind of thing. As an example, I stumbled across these people, regional Scandinavian dialect humor from the Midwest recorded back in I think the 40s.

archive.org has a whole collection of their stuff, all out of print of course, with a way cleaner copy of that song. I'll grant you, not something most people are going to care about. But it's there, and they use torrents.
