Voistant on MacOS

A MacOS version of the voice assistant app 'Voistant' is now available.

Voistant is an AI voice assistant which should in principle give you complete verbal control over your PC or Mac.

It is still very much in beta, and I am in need of feedback about it. Is this really something that would be useful? As I said elsewhere, there are quite some costs involved in the AI agent calls, the screen captures, etc. so even though it is free to use for now, it will have to be a paid service later on. I need your thoughts about whether it would be worth it. Or what improvements would you need to make it worth getting a subscription for.

The website https://voistant.com has a link to download the current Mac version. You have to set a number of permissions to give Voistant access to do its thing. A readme file on desktop as well as a spoken message will guide you through those.

Good luck, let me know how it goes for you?

Hi, I'm absolutely loving the app! I have just sent you an email with feedback.

Hi,

Here's my experience on the app so far. So far I was able to go into the app, compose a new text message, send it, select the conversation, and delete it right from there without doing anything or touching the keyboard. Simple operations can be free, but maybe in future you can implement a paid pro version that offers more advanced capabilities kind of like what ChatGPT and Google Gemini offers, The free version Will have basic features such as sending text messages, sending emails, and other basic things that you can do on the computer. Other advanced features could require a paid subscription which is optional. But for right now I'm loving what it does so far. I wish that there was a waiting sound so that when it's done processing or continuing to process request it can play awaiting tone instead of being silent.
