Apple Beta Releases

I’ve not updated my phone to the beta yet, but just thought I would post on here to let you know that it is now out for anyone who wants to download it. You can comment what you find in the beta.

Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis

If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.

If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.

In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

All reports shared with AppleVis must first be filed with Apple via Feedback Assistant. More information about the Community Bug Program is available here.

Please someone tell me that apple fix the bug with VO not reading the notification and the screen locking in the middle of reading the notification. Long live cats.

The bug with Picture-in-Picture has been resolved. Earlier, we were unable to swipe between elements in the Picture-in-Picture window, but now it works properly, and we can swipe between elements and use it normally.

Earlier, a bug caused the keyboard to feel a bit sluggish and slow. Now, everything feels snappy and fast. Also, the sound that used to play while typing passwords is now heard while entering the iPhone passcode as well.

What about notification and VO and screen lock

I can say this bug is almost fixed. I’m saying “almost” because in iOS 26 beta 3, this issue occurs very rarely. It still happens sometimes, but not often.

Yes, I like that. Long live cats.

Well PB3 is out and I can assure you all notifications has not been fixed. Behaving exactly as it has since well 18.something.

Hi,
I'm curious to know if Safari bookmarks can once again be accessed by those of us who use Voiceover?

Hi,
I have a few more issues, which are present in ios 26.0.1 & I'm curious to know if they're still present in 26.1?

#1: In settings, Apple intelligence& Siri, when you change the language, you're not told what is selected. If you want to know, you must go to the previous screen.
#2: In settings/apps/phone, changing the option for how unknown callers are handled, is similar to the Siri language bug, in that you're not told what's currently selected.

Have either or both of these been fixed in iOS26.1?
If so, I may upgrade. ,

Yeah, there are quite a few places now where the selected item is not announced, which is troubling to say the least of it. In addition to those mentioned, one significant one is in FaceTime and Messages settings pages, you can no longer tell which email addresses and phone numbers are selected. Happily, in that case they can be inferred from the options available for Caller ID (an unselected item won't be listed, obviously) but this is by no means guaranteed, as for instance happens in Focus settings where lists of apps or contacts to allow or block can be built from the selection of apps or contacts. Since this is clearly an epidemic, rather than a single issue, it would probably help to know, first, if others are seeing this, and where they are seeing this, before hitting thenuclear button.

And then, an unrelated issue: every so often, when you double-tap the Tabs button in Safari, it just locks up, requiring Safari to be restarted. So not the end of the world, but mighty inconvenient if you've just filled in a form, because you'll lose that content.
