Hi! I'm trying to set Voice Dream as the default app for opening ePub files but I'm unable to do so, since they will be opened with Books instead.
How can I do that? I remember before uninstalling VD it used to work.
The only solution for this I have ever found is to uninstall Apple Books. Since that app became unusable with VoiceOver for me years ago it wasn't a loss, but that might not be the same for everyone.
"To change the default app for a file type on iOS, open the file in the Files app, tap and hold the file, and select "Share". Choose the desired app from the share sheet, and iOS will remember your preference for that file type going forward. There is no central "default apps" setting for file types in iOS, so this must be done for each file type individually."

Thanks, Ive tried that but it'll run another app, Iām not sure why.
Files > Share > Choose An App
According to AI:

Re: Files > Share > Choose An App
I've tried that either but no dice.
