Does anyone know of a small bluetooth keypad, with minimal keys, that works like the physical push-buttons phones do, that I can suggest for a friend who is older who has an iPhone, but prefers an easy-to-use phone-like interface?

Amazon
While I do not have any personal experience with using a Bluetooth keypad on an iPhone, Amazon has a few choices that may interest you.
Best of luck.
be sure to read carefully
some keypads say they aren't compatible with iOS. Read carefully.
Hable?
Perhaps one of the Hable devices, the HableOne or Hable Easy? I've not seen them but they claim to be desiged for this. They seem over-priced of course being AT.

would not recomment that
I absolutely would not recommend that. You can get Bluetooth keypads for much cheaper. The Orbit writer is Cheaper than the Hable and far better.
