Assistance requested: trying to sync my icloud bookmarks with Microsoft Edge on my Win11 pc

Hello,
Over the past few days, I've been struggling to get my safari bookmarks to sync with my iphone which is running ios 26.
I have the icloud for Windows app installed & have the option to sync bookmarks checked on both the phone & pc which is running Windows 11.
I'm using edge as my browser on the Windows side of things.
Despite this, I have 1 bookmark on my phone & a lot more on my pc.
I also have an iPad & mac, both running their respective version of OS 26 & each containing a different set of bookmarks.
Apple requested that I disable bookmark syncing on those devices for now, so that's what I've done.
If I navigate to icloud.com, it shows I should have over 1,000 bookmarks.
Does anyone know where the disconnect might be & what else I might try to resolve it?
I've already tried restarting my router & restoring my phone, to no avail.
Thanks in advance, for any advice you can provide.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to sync the bookmarks you have in iCloud, I'm guessing with Safari browser, over to windows to use on Microsoft edge browser?
Personally, I use Firefox, but the following steps should be the same for you.
1. Export your bookmarks from the Safari app to a file. I believe this file will save in the files app.
2. Install the Edge mobile app on your iPhone.
3. Go into the settings on that browser, and import your Safari favorites over to Microsoft Edge, by utilizing the file you saved in step one.
4. You should have the Edge Mobile set up to sync with its windows counterpart.

That's it. Your favorites should now be on Microsoft Edge, same as you have on Safari.
From this point on, anytime you're on your iPhone, and you want to save a bookmark and carry it over to your Windows computer, just make sure you open the Edge mobile app, and save that page using Edge. It should automatically sync to the Windows counterpart, and voilΓ , easy Peezy lemon squeezy.

HTH.

Hi,
No, please allow me to clarify.
iCloud for Windows allows users to sync bookmarks & other data between their Apple devices & Windows computer.
What I'm trying to accomplish here is the syncing of my bookmarks from Safari on my iPhone to all other devices, including my Windows 11 computer.
Sync is supposed to work in both directions.

If you add a favorite, and have sync set up with Edge on iOS, you will not be able to access it if you’re a voiceover user, unless you enable screen recognition. This is the case for both the beta and App Store versions of the application. If screen recognition is not employed, every single element on that screen shows up as an unlabeled button.

Thank you for clarifying. I did not know that about Edge on iOS. As I mentioned, I do my steps I posted above, via Firefox on my iPhone and on my Windows computer. Did not know about the iCloud syncing across multiple devices. I seldomly use iCloud for anything these days, so thanks for the tip on that. :-)
