Media Player that allows Bookmarking?

Hi all,
I’m working with several audio files and often need to bookmark specific sections so I can replay them easily. Ideally, I’d like to be able to name these bookmarked sections and return to them later. A book-reading app that supports audio files could also work if it offers this functionality.
Does anyone know of an app that supports this? I’m fine with solutions for either macOS or iPadOS.
