Hey all, I just got my brand new mac book pro and set up facebook by signing in on internet accounts. However, I was wondering where is Facebook? More specifically, where can I see the news feed and update my status from mac OS x? Thanks

To post to Facebook, open your notification center (either from the menu extras or by swiping from the right edge of the trackpad with 2 fingers), and interact with the table. The first thing you should see is a series of buttons, which will depend on what accounts you added/ Voiceover will read all of them at once. Interact with that group of buttons and press the one for Facebook. There you go, type in a message, attach a geotag, pick who you want to share it with, and either press send or command-shift-d. For notifications, you will get them pushed to you so VO will read if anything happens, but to actually read your newsfeed, you still have to use the Facebook website.
You can also post to FB by sharing webpages from Safari using the respective submenu in the menu bar. Your posts will be shown on your timeline as shared from OS X
Hi. I just wanted to ask, I used to share pages with Twitter from safari. I think in mountain Lion no matter what you did, it wouldn't post. Is that at all fixed in mavericks? I haven't tried.
