I really like this game. So far, I have only tried "Snakes and Ladders" and "Dominoes", but hope to try the others soon. I have reported my findings on the www.audiogames.net forum where TableEx has been discussed. It would be great if there was an option to remove ads, as i do not like the option of watching ads to earn coins.

Hi! I have downloaded this app, because it contains several games I might play, but I have not yet played any of the games, because I spotted a couple of bugs. In the description of the app above, it says that we can play solo, but that doesn't seem to be possible, as far as I can tell. The app also crashes on iOS 18.

It's designed for iPad so I am trying it on macOS now.

Soon as there is bot support I'll be grabbing this. I mean, this ain't gunna go well if there ain't no one to play with and that'll happen. guarantee so a way to play with bots, don't know, should have been a thing from the start. Oh well. Least it's being worked on.

When I created my account, I also received an error message, but after closing the app, clearing it from the app switcher and re-opening it, everything has been fine for me. It would be great if there was a way to earn coins when we win games, as is the case in Dice World. I know there is a website for purchasing a top-up for coins but I took a look at it and I don't know if I feel comfortable about using it. It's not as simple as selecting your payment method. There is another step you need to complete, and I don't know if I feel comfortable doing that.

I have my language set to English, but when I try to play a game, I can’t understand what is happening on the board because it keeps reading nothing but Arabic letter this, Arabic letter that, Arabic letter this, Arabic letter that so it isn’t really helping me that much. Is there a way to fix that? I have my language set to English as I said before.

I also have my language for Table Ex set to English, and I decided to turn on notifications. However, the few notifications I have received have been spoken in a language which sounds like Arabic. I hope this bug will be fixed soon!

Yeah really. This creates a pretty strong barrier for those who do not speak Arabic that want to play.My notifications were in Arabic, but even the status of whatever is on the board. I tried to play roulette, but whenever I placed a bet, it would just speak Arabic letters

Tonight I was playing Dominoes with a friend. Our table was set to private, and we had our maximum score set to 50. At the beginning of our 3rd round, we were both thrown out of the game. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like this game wasn't tested all that well. Still waiting on bots but now I'm even more reluctant. Do people not know how to beta test? This sounds more like a beta. Should have gone through more stable testing instead of rushing the release. Losing coins on game start, signup issues and what not. All these things could have been prevented if this was all, tested. Create a second account if you're wanting to test account creation. Can always delete accounts from the database. Again, this sounds more and more like a beta the more I'm reading here. I'll be waiting until things get more stable thank you very much. If I'm sounding harsh, it's because I am. None of these things should have an excuse of going through to production. I understand not everything can be tested but these, from what I'm reading sounds like very basic little things that can be easily tested. I could be very much wrong but this is all on what I'm looking at on here and on other forums.

I didn't get this app because a game has no business tracking me across apps.

They also want to collect my contact info.

I mean, you can always not allow that.

Hi, is there a link for the play store? I've searched the play store but couldn't find the app on google play.
The reason why I'm asking is if I want to invite my friends who use android, I can send them that link, because I myself don't use android.

I don't come out and post much these days, mainly because my degree and part-time job keeps me busy, but I've also recently experienced traumatic messages sent to me when I tried reaching out for help with something on social media, so I tend to keep quiet. This concern I have however, is serious enough that I can't just ignore it.
When I first heard about the Table Ex app, I honestly thought it was pretty cool. Although RS has voice chat, I don't think that was supported in the IOS version. Quentin C has most of the features Table Ex has, but it is also not supported with an App on IOS. In any case, having a gaming platform where we could voice chat with friends on the go sounded fun to me.
Sure, there are the bugs, and I could live with that. Slowly however, I began to see just how confusing the app was. Unlike RS and Dice world, apps that have in-app purchases, you are extremely limited as to what you can do in this app without coins. There were no pop-ups, no alerts that explained the coin system and how it worked. I had to evaluate my coin count carefully, and I noticed it costs 3 coins to create a table, and at least the app is nice enough to warn me that adding a bot will cost one coin, but there's no real information about what else in the app costs coins, and what is actually free.
As time went on, I tried to maintain my positive attitude about the app. Sure, things cost money and I'm sure sighted people have games that frustrate them just as much. While I've heard of apps limiting gameplay to a certain amount of games, levels or abilities, I've never heard of apps that completely limit a person from playing simply because of their inability to pay. That's something else that needs to change on Applevis, this app's free or pay option. It needs to be changed to Free with In-app Purchase. While an individual can buy more coins with convenient access to the purchasing options in the shop category or when you push the button labeled with your coin count, you also never seem to gain any coins beyond the simple act of watching ads. Even in Dice World, you win gold whenever you win a game, despite whether you are paying for a subscription or not. With this app, there's no real incentive to the user at all, other than it being a free place to tempt you into spending money so you could hang out with friends and play cool games. While I'm on the subject of coins, I think it's also important to point out that the platform you use depends on how much your coins will cost. There is also a windows client for this app, which I googled, downloaded and ran. The installation is very similar to programs like RS or QC. Launching the program gives you most of the options you see on the IOS app, but you cannot watch ads to earn coins. Instead, you must buy them.
I chose that option one day to see what their setup was like on the Windows version. You are taken to a website where you have to choose the amount of coins you want to buy, and then proceed with your payment. On IOS, you pay $4.99 for 100 coins, while for $5.00, you get 300 coins on Windows. I don't have an Android, so I can't check pricing there. If anyone wants to provide this information to the community, it would be much appreciated. I suspect part of that reasoning is because Apple has to get their slice of the pie, so Apple consumers get ripped off. Sure, that should make things pretty even in my book.

Next, I want to talk about transparency when it comes to actually using the app. I was able to add friends, but only by searching a list of online players. There's no convenient Add friend button so you can search for players online. You have to go to the online players, search for the person's username if you know its exact spelling, or flip through a gigantic list of players until you find their name by some miracle, or until you've become bald. Additionally, although we have information inside the table options menu on how to play each game, there was no information on how to accept an invitation from a friend. You have to find the friend's name who sent you the invitation in your friends list, and double-tap and hold to join their table. I also noticed that people can't join your table when it's private, despite you sending an invitation. My friends and I kept getting stuck and spent nearly an hour trying to figure out how we accept invites. I realize that part of this could be a language issue, but if help is needed to transfer helpful information into other languages, I'm sure there are some people who might be willing to step in and help. When users come away with more questions than answers, and aren't even rewarded for their time using your app, where's the fun in that? Even apps like Dice World give people a chance to earn gold, despite whether they've paid or not.

Now, we come to the real reason why I had to make this post. For me, I feel that the app has reached a new unsafe level, and whether the dev is aware or not, no app should support extremely shady advertisements. Yesterday morning, I launched Table Ex to play some Ludo. It was a favorite game of mine from Game world, and I actually really miss that game and can't play it anywhere else. I noticed my coin count was getting low, and I decided to watch some ads to earn coins. I've purchased 100 coins as an in-app purchase twice. I received them the first time, but didn't receive the coins after my second purchase, so I requested a refund from Apple and it was granted. As soon as the ad comes up, I hear Voiceover counting down to 1, and I hear nothing. I go to read my screen and this is what it says.
"Your phone is severely damaged by (72) viruses. We have detected your browser is (70) percent damaged, viruses picked up off of corrupt sites."
After this it says, "How to fix now:" and gives a list of directions that suggest I should press the Okay button, then I will be taken to the app store to download this cleaner app. I know IPhones are devices vulnerable to some security risks, even if they don't get the same kind of viruses computers do. I think any kind of advertisement using those scare tactics are horrible and shouldn't be allowed on these platforms. I'm not sure who controls the advertisement space, but more important than that, the close button wasn't useable on the add. Of course, I could click okay, and I was indeed taken to the appstore, but in no way was I installing an app.
I didn't earn my reward, so I closed the app down, launched it again, and tried to watch another ad. The exact same ad came up. Three times I closed the app, relaunched it and three times that very same ad came up. I eventually found out that you have to wait for a while, hit close, then hit close again for it to register, but where went all the other random gaming ads? It seems like this is the only ad that comes up now, and that has really drained my trust in using it. I've tried to be patient and give the developer some support. I realize there may be communication issues, but any app developer knows that transparency is the best policy when dealing with people. Despite the people who have purchased coins, there are no rewards given for spending time in the app or game victories. There's no clear information about game invitations, what costs money and what doesn't. There are differences in pricing when it comes to purchasing those coins from one platform to another, and while I realize not all of this may be in the developer's control, they should still be communicating these things to us as app users.
Please understand I'm not here to rant and complain about a game just for sport. As far as I know, Table Ex's multi-platform approach to group-based gaming that allows voice chat and internet radio streaming is a rarity in our community. The actual games are fun to play, but if it's a free piece of software that requires some kind of paid membership or subscription to use, we should be aware of that from the start. It's disappointing to me that people can be roped in to some real cool free app, yet even if their coin count is limited, they have no means of earning coins beyond watching shady advertisements that are difficult to get out of, unless they want to pay of course.
I recently mentioned this app to a group of game players and on social media, and not many have heard of this app yet. I suspect that is why no one is talking about its lack of transparency, but I do hope this starts a discussion. This is a really cool app, but I don't like this, "It's free to pay unless you don't have money or time to watch a bunch of mindless ads," attitude. How is that fair to anyone?

That shady advert you mentioned sounds like RansomWare, which is just sad to see.. or hear in our case..
My best advice would be to uninstall Table X, and report the app to Apple.

Alternatively, if you are feeling brave, you could take a screenshot of the advert in question, the next time it pops up. Then submit the screenshot along with your report to Apple.

I do not like it when devs are not transparent. I do not like it when we have to pay in coins for every, single, action we do. Add bots, joining and creating tables. Yeah. I do not like it when it's a free app but you gotta pay to play and them not telling you about it. I do, not, like, when you don't any other way of playing accept, buying or watching adds to get coins, just so you can play. Like, do better! Now that I'm hearing that adds are RansomWare I've lost respect because apps like this should not even be aloud in the app store. Everyone needs to report the app to apple and give it a one star review. There's gotta be another way that people can play instead of being all greedy and wanting money to buy coins, just so you can play the games. It's disgusting. This sounded fun at first but yeah. You need coins for everything you do it seems like.

After having problems with TableEx not long after its release, about which I posted earlier in the comments here, I uninstalled the iOS app. After reading the last few comments, I have no intention of reinstalling it. I have nothing against in-app purchases, but it sounds like this app can't be used without them, plus the lack of transparency from the developer and the accessibility problems with the ads are also very worry issues. I'm not saying that nobody should play TableEx, but personally I have no plans to do so.
