Apologies, to anyone who saw this on audiogames.net, but as this is an Ios related matter, I thought perhaps it would be good to ask this question here.
I'm fairly familiar with lost vault, and am trying to decide whehther to start playing lost vault again, pick up warshovel or conceivably do both.
I enjoy lost vault as far as it goes, the building aspects are nice and it's good to have something to bash on a daily basis, but find the game becomes rather dull with the micro management over long periods, EG constantly having to swap out new equips or gems or repeatedly upgrade equipment.
I am not that interested in leaderboards, but the personal advancement is nice, and yes, I've played in clans, done invasions, raided other people and been raided, worked several levels of badges, I'm currently around level 25 I believe, though new creatures, unlocks or things to play with are getting a bit thin on the ground right now.
So first question, does warshovel actually have different aspects to it's gameplay, or is it basically just lost vault with a fantasy skin, dragons and goblins instead of mutants and radioactive beasties.
Second question, how interactive is the warshovel gameplay? Is it still fire and forget with automatic combat like lost vault? Do the crafts have some descriptions, or some more activities involved with them? Is the exploration a little more nuanced than just bashing along with water a couple of times a day?
This isn't to knock lost vault, the game has some really good aspects, and heck I've had times where I've played very regularly and may well do so again, I was just hoping that as the developer's second game, warshovel might have a little more to offer.
let the discussions begin!

Pretty much the same
If you’re looking into comparison between the two, there really isn’t much, both games are similar in their aspects, still had to swap out gear, gems, and all the same stuff in lost fault. Frankly, it was great in the beginning, but now it’s just repetitive and looking for a new game, but that’s my personal opinion.
