Description of App

A once hidden land, inhabited by indigenous villagers and mythical beasts, is under threat from foreign invaders. Play as one of the beasts, using the weather, your unique powers and your synergy with the different land types, to save villagers, drive off invaders and prevent them from mining and colonising the land. All in the name of chasing a high score! Key features: - Turn-based roguelike (broughlike) inspired by game mechanics from games of Michael Brough (868-HACK, Cinco Paus and Imbroglio) - Play as 1 of 4 beasts, each with unique rules and powers - Risk/Reward strategic decisions on how you manage the board - Game grid is made up of 5 different land types which beasts engage with differently - Procedural generated game board (land tile placement) means a different game every time - Dynamic weather cycles each with a different impact on invader and/or beast behaviour - 4 different invader types, each with their own behaviour and purpose/actions - Local and Game Center high score leaderboards - Voiceover accessibility - Full dark mode theme The gameplay mechanics and rules are hidden and the intention is for them to be discovered through multiple runs. However, for those that want to jump straight in with full knowledge of the game, an in-built guide is included.

Accessibility Comments

Please read the guide found in the main menu before playing. I really recommend it.
The game is completely playable with voiceover, you can use the magic tap by double tapping with two fingers to read your stats and find invaders, camps and buildings. you can also explore the grid by dragging your finger on the screen. you can find the current weather at the top left, your skills are located at the bottom, if you flick right after their name you can view the cost to activate them. you use fear which is the game's currency to use these powers.
to move you need to double tap and hold until you hear the three tones, then just flick in the direction you want to move.
when you move, there isn't a sound effect, but if you enable audio and aptics in the settings you will be able to learn as you play what each sound means. there are sounds for most events.
remember that the sightless stinger is the only beast that can move to the sea tiles.
the developer is still improving voiceover support adding quality of life to future versions, please leave your suggestions below.

Other Comments

Please read the game guide before start playing. I'm loving this game. It's awesome and innovative, nothing like I have played before. mixing some genres like puzzle, strategy and adding roguelike elements to make each run a completely different experience.

Hey everyone! now it's the perfect time for you to pick up the game, I've been giving feedback to the amazing developer for the whole week, now we have voiceover announcements for all the actions in the game. so if you were lost trying to figure out what was going on, you will love the new changes. I'll be doing an audio tutorial next week to help other gamers.
changelog:
- IMPORTANT: I am afraid that the Rock Giant leaderboard had to be reset as its powers were incorrectly generating points towards score as well as fear. I apologise for any frustration with this action but it was an important one to take to keep the integrity of the leaderboard rules - Fixed score bugs with Rock Giant - Improved voiceover announcements which now provide alerts for all spawning and movement - Batched voiceover announcements - Voiceover bug fixes
