Hello, I'd like to buy a irig keys, using in conjunction with garageband or similar app. I'd like to use irig keys as second keyboard to play with my musical band. but the problem for me is: if I connect the iphone5 to a mixer, how can I prevent Voiceover to go out? I absolutely don't want that people can listen to my voiceover! is there a solution for this?

I'm not sure if will do exactly what you're asking, but you might wanna check out an app called Audio bus. http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/music/audiobus

Hello folks.Prior to iOS7, or to the latest version of Garageband, I'm not sure which, I've noticed that I can no longer play the smart keyboard. Everywhere I touch just says "button". I used to be able to change this with the "adjust value" item in the rotor. But now, that doesn't appear in the rotor anymore, so there's no way to play unless you turn VO off. This makes it nigh on impossible to record anything. My iRig HD connector for the guitar works great at least, so it would be especially nice now to regain access to the smart keyboard. I haven't checked, but I assume the same issue is happening with smart guitar and smart bass. Also, are the new versions of garageband for both iOS and oSX actually more accessible. I gave up on my lessons at the Apple store, because most of the time was being spent discovering bugs, rather than learning a whole lot. Anyway, wondering what people have noticed. Thanks! TD
