Hello,
I am managing a website for a family business, and I am looking for a way to have FTP read/write access preferably in finder (preferably without buying an app/service).
I know things such as ciberduck and commander1 both exist, but I think commander1 requires you pay to get access to ftp read/write access, and ciberduck also costs $30.
Do you know of any app to do this? if this can't be done in finder, is there any accessible software that I could use?

A list
Hey there, I've scrounged up a list of Mac FTP software for ya. No idea if any of these are VO compatible, but it's a place to start. :D
Fyi, some of these are free, some are not.

Transmit
A quick search suggests that Transmit will do what you want. I don't know how accessible it is. On the rare occasion that I've needed FTP, I've used lftp in a terminal.
Be aware that ssh is far superior and more secure, especially if used with a key pair. Rsync is excellent for file transfer.
Transmit
I haven't used it for years, and because of how they do their releases, I couldn't use my old license on their newer versions, and refused to pay a subscription when I could access ftp on Windows for free. Having said that, years ago, when I did use it, it worked quite nicely. Other than Transmit, I haven't had great luck with any other ftp clients on the Mac. I was able to set up servers in the finder, but apparently it's read only.
I haven't tried ftp on the mac though for a while, as I no longer have to do web site work.
