Hi friends, I’m experiencing an issue where VoiceOver cuts out at the beginning of sentences.
When VoiceOver starts reading something, it often skips the first word or the first two words.
I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18.3.
Does anyone else have this issue?

But, yeah, it seems like this bug has made its way to iOS. I've seen it a couple of times since upgrading to 18.3.

I just upgraded to iOS 18.3 a couple of days ago but this was also happening before the upgrade, I think from 18.2.1?

I've been experiencing it too, on my iPhone 15 ProMax running iOS 18.3. I think this issue has been around ever since iOS 18.0 or something; I remember experiencing it ever since I upgraded to iOS 18 back in September. It doesn't happen all the time though, but the issue does happen from time-to-time (in fact kind of often from my experience).

It’s happened before, but it could just be my AirPods, given their Bluetooth and Bluetooth is notorious for being a supreme pain when it wants to be

I've experienced it even when no bluetooth headphones are connected, I.E it happened even through my phone's speaker.
