Hi all. Recently been experiencing problems with my iPad and the app store. I can brows it fine, but whenevver I double tap on an app it goes to a completely different Papp. The same happens on the iTunes store for music and film. If I double tap on a spesific film or albuhm, it takes me to a totally different one I clicked on. iBooks seems to be ok, but cant download any app I want on the iPad at the moment. Everything was fine up until a.few weeks ago. I have an iPod touch amd it works properly on that. I've checked the VoiceOver settings but everything seems fine. The gestures work fine on everything but the app store. Has anyone experienced a similar problem or has a solution?

Yes, I have also noticed these issues. If I have a direct link to the app, such as the ones provided on this site, everything works fine, but searching and browsing produce the situation described above. The situation seems to have existed for music for several months; however, the app store behaved better until more recently. If you the specific app you are looking for, it sometimes works to search in Safari; because, one of the results will likely take you to the developer's website, and they will probably have a direct link, which will work fine. That's no hep for browsing, or just doing a general search without knowing the name of a specific app.

I am having problems with ipad and the ap store not being able to scroll through my search results. Voiceover doesn't read them. They were working jsut fine until two days ago. Is this happening to anyone else/ I've even reset to ractory defaults.
Hello! Maybe you've got assisted touch turned on, wich can make selecting econs difficult? Please see this topic: http://www.applevis.com/applevis-forum/ios-ios-app-discussion/warning-about-assisted-touch-and-voiceover-please-read Maybe this helps.

Good thought, but I checked, and it is deffinitely turned off on mine. Thanks for the link to the other post though, very interesting to know for future reference.

Yes, I can see exact same problems here. I didn't even notice when the Store stopped working for me but as of two days ago I am not able to download any of the apps I search for.
I've checked assistive touch but I have it turned off. It just happpened out of the blue for me too, was fine then this. The music store went wrong around the ssame time.
So, any fixes? My assistive touch is turned off too. I emailed Apple for support, but no answer really. Just a web site with accessibility tutorials.

I don't have an iPad myself, but am quite surprised at this behavior. I'd email accessibility@apple.com and explain the specifics. I remember reading that iTunes on the computer had changed recently, but didn't hear anything about iPad changes.
