Hi everyone,
I recently updated my Apple Watch Series 7 to Watch OS 11.2 from the latest version of Watch OS 10.
I have noticed a major bug when replying to messages.
When I activate the keyboard, no matter where I tap on the screen, VoiceOver just says "text field, is editing", so I have no way of actually inputting text. If I swipe left and right with one finger, VoiceOver doesn't move through items on the keyboard: "text field, is editing" is the only thing VoiceOver says and the only way to get out of the text field is to press the digital crown.
Even when I use a Bluetooth keyboard, I can't input text properly and can't get confirmation from VoiceOver of what I've actually typed.
This applies both when replying to or typing messages in the messages app, and when I reply to a message via the notification centre.
I plan to report this to Apple, but wanted to post on here to check if anybody else is experiencing this, so I can make my report more credible knowing it isn't just me.
It is incredibly frustrating because I reply to messages on my watch regularly, and as it stands, I have no option but to use my phone, unless someone knows a workaround for this.
If I'd known about this bug, I would have waited before upgrading to Watch OS 11.
Thank you for any comments, even if it's simply to say you're also experiencing this issue.

Think I've fixed it
Hi everyone,
It looks like I've fixed the problem: I managed to, through a lot of trial and error, find the option to change the keyboard input. It turns out that the keyboard input was set to Braille so I changed it to Keyboard and that solved the problem.
I had to swipe down with one finger on the edit field to select "dictation" and then I was eventually able to find the keyboard input option and change it to Keyboard, and now the QWERTY keyboard comes up no problem like it used to.
I'm so relieved as I type on my watch regularly and I would have been really annoyed if I'd had to wait until the next software update.
I'm never changing the keyboard input again as that took time, but I'm just happy I've fixed it.
