Any current accessible alternatives to Telegram on iOS?

I have someone with whom I am now having a regular telegram conversation that is quite long, and I’m experiencing problems with the official Telegram app. Sometimes after several messages have come in, it is necessary for me to wait sometimes up to 30 seconds before voiceover we’ll see all of the new messages or I may have to send a new message in order for the old ones to show up. I know that bright guide used to be a thing, but I looked it up in the App Store and it is no longer inactive development and no longer works. Are there other alternative apps for using the telegram service on iOS that I don’t know about?
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
