Keyboard Help does not work as expected when Arrow-key Quick Nav is on

Description

When Arrow-key Quick Nav is on, VoiceOver does not speak the functions of most keys when in Keyboard Help. In addition, pressing the Escape key does not work to stop help.

Workaround

Turning Arrow-key Quick Nav off before starting help will cause the feature to work as expected. To stop help when Arrow-key Quick Nav is on, press the Power button and authenticate with Touch ID or your login password.

Workaround: 2 finger scrub also works on the trackpad to get out of help mode. Also when both skqn and akqn are on the behaviour of akqn prevails so this bug also happens then.

I may have turned off some setting or other, probably relating to sleeping, but I don't have to authenticate. Holding in the power button for a second or two gets me back to the desktop. Also, the media keys will work to get you out of it. I think all that needs to happen to stop it is for something else to come to the front, as it were, e.g. the shutdown dialogue/window, a media program triggered by the media key for playing things, stuff like that. So if anything else can do that, it would probably get you out of it as well.
