Uber Eats regression on iOS, anyone else experiencing this?

I'm encountering a new bug with Uber Eats, where if I double tap a restaurant within a list of restaurants, it always opens the first restaurant in the list no matter which one I actually tried to choose. Say for example under the Today's Offers heading is Subway, then Pizza Hut, then Mcdonalds. Double tapping Pizza Hut or Mcdonalds will open the screen for Subway. This happens whether I swipe to or manually locate the restaurant I'm trying to choose.

Is this happening for anyone else? And if so, any tips and tricks for reporting to Uber? Last time I tried reporting an accessibility bug I just got the runaround from a bot. App version is 6.247.10000

Yeah, unfortunately the deals on other services, at least here, are complete trash compared to the BOGO deals on Uber Eats. So hope we can get this fixed.

Have you tried accessing Uber Eats both in the Uber Eats app, and in the regular Uber app, on the Uber Eats tab?

From what I could tell, it seems like only the home tab was affected, at least for now, the groceries, browse, previous orders, and favorites screens didn’t seem to be affected.

In the meantime, I've found that scrolling left and right through restaurants is the easiest way to get around this.
I've also noticed when I scroll up or touch near the bottom, the restaurant changes.
This started happening to me last week.

Yes its happening here with me too. It actually is a random restaurant for me it goes to not the first one in the list.

If I move my finger along the screen and then find the restaurant I want, and then if I tap with another finger, this sometimes works.

I keep forgetting you can access Uber Eats through the main Uber app now. The interface seems to be considerably more clunky, but hey, at least it doesn't have this issue, so it's an option. Still, I'd like for them to fix the Uber Eats app, and the first response I got from them asked me to, and I quote, "upload" the latest version of the app, which does not inspire confidence.

Yeah I'm having this issue. And the website isn't as accessible as it used to be. I'm kinda worried sense uber eats is the only service I use. DoorDash also went half accessible on iOS several years ago and that never got fixed so yeah I'm scared.

I was also experiencing this issue earlier in the week, but yesterday I ordered from Uber eats, choosing a restaurant from the home tab, and it seemed to pull up the restaurant I double tapped on. Has anybody tried recently to see if the issue has been resolved? If you don’t have automatic updates for your apps, make sure you go and update to the newest version of Uber Eats, as they have released an update since this issue first appeared.

I'm not sure what changed, I downloaded the latest update and it was stil broken, but it works now with no issues.

I got an update to the app today and it seems like it's fixed on my end. So either this bug is inconsistent, or the right people did get my bug reports and just didn't respond.
