So I am considering the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses, and need to know few things.
For those how had them, where did you get yours from? I searched on Amazon and only found accessories. E-Bay is a no go for me. The second question is I see variations of the glasses and as I have no vision whatsoever I can’t tell the difference. Which one has the least weird appearance?
Thanks all

Some answers
Got mine at LensCrafters. They are an international eyewear retailer. I am not sure how many different frames exist for the Meta Ray-Ban's, but I have gotten a chance to check out three versions, Wayfarer, Skylar, and Headliner. All of them are essentially like popular sunglasses frames. I started out with the Wayfarer, but to me they were a little too bulky, so I now have the Skylar frames. They are a lot more comfortable, and not as bulky, so I enjoy using them more so than I did with the Wayfarer.
Regarding looks, I would go with the black on black. Meaning black frames, and black (or dark gray) lenses. Those will look like traditional sunglasses. They do have other color frames, but the only ones I am familiar with are the brown or tan version, the gray version, and a kind of chalky version. I believe the Chucky version is more of a feminine design. The brown/tan, and gray, are a translucent style, where you can see the electronics inside the frames. I realize I am talking about visual aesthetics, but you did mention how you want to look versus not look, so I am trying to be as thorough as possible.
HTH.
Buying Meta Ray-Bans
A friend went into a Lenscrafters to select a good size fit and style, then ordered them online, which saved a few bucks, I imagine. Like my friend, I went to Lenscrafters to try them out, but I ended up ordering from them, simply out of convenience.
I told both the store clerk and my sighted spouse that I wanted to "look cool." I ended up with Wayfarer frames colored matte black, and the charcoal gray sunglasses lenses. Both the clerk and my spouse agreed that I look cool. I have my doubts. I used to be sighted, and I'm fully aware of how dorky I look. If these glasses have made me look cool, then we should call the Vatican, because it's a flipping miracle.
My head is slightly larger than a medium but way smaller than a large, so I have the medium size and hope the glasses will stretch over time. Currently they're a bit tight, but not enough to prevent me from wearing them as I type this post.
The Facebook group really is the best place
to get your questions ansered. You'll need an account with the glasses, so you'll only feel a little bit worse about actually using FB.
Ray-Ban store
I was able to go into a Ray-Ban retail store here in Dublin, try different ones on, and buy them there and then.
The guys working in the store were great too, they knew all about them, the features like Be My Eyes, and were happy to advise me on what styles suited me.

Ray-bans
I visited a Sunglass Hut (US chain)to try on all 3 frame styles. I was also able to check out the transition lenses since I do have some vision. Ultimately, though, I purchased mine from target because of the great black Friday deal. You can also buy them at Best Buy, and I did see them on Amazon last week.
The Wayfarers come in 2 sizes, regular and large. They have more of a rounded shape. The Skyler frames are more oval, and the Headliners are more rectangular. You can get matte or shiny black frames with various lens colors as mentioned before.
It’s best to try them on if at all possible. The frame style I thought I wanted was actually not the one I ended up purchasing in the end.
Some VPN suspicions from the UK
Whisper it quietly, mine still work. Not really sure why, they just do - work with Look and Ask like they have always done.
I've been updating the app Etc. Lots of people say they have lost functionality, but not me.
The only thing I can think of is that I've just left my VPN running all the time - I like getting Ads from a different country and we do have 'Tims' in the UK if I get desperate.
