Hi guys.
I’m frustrated; can’t believe that my old apple watch Works better than my brand-new apple watch 10.
Beside the troubles with volume rotor control that it is a mess now, I’m having these problems which make me think that maybe it is better to stick with my apple watch 7, and return my apple watch 10.
1.- Since the second year I owned my apple watch 7, and after my apple watch 4, I understood that I have to use my watch with a plastic-glass clear case. My apple watch 4 and 7 both got scratches on the edges of the glass so for the second year of my apple watch 7, I bought a JeTech clear case for it to avoid further damages. This JeTech case was awesome because people said it doesn’t look as I was wearing it over my watch, and it was nothing fancy or particular. Now since I received my apple watch 10, I promise myself that I won’t use it until I have a clear case on it, so I went to amazon, looked for a new version of the simple JeTech case I used before, but surprise, this brand doesn’t have an update of this case, so I had to look for other options, and I ended with whatsoever other brand clear hard-plastic case for my watch.
The trouble is that since I put this new case to my new apple watch 10, some gestures are difficult, if not impossible to perform while using it. For example, the double tap gesture sometimes needs to be performed twice to get it well done, and it is impossible to perform the double three fingers gesture to disable voiceover speech, the same as the gesture to enable or disable the screen curtain, or the double two fingers gesture to pause or unpause music. So I removed the case and every gesture was again working as expected. Ok, so let’s return that case and buy another one.
So the second case was this kind of gummy soft-plastic clear case, which in fact respects more the curves of the watch lines, but Oh surprise! Again, while using it, all voiceover gestures I mentioned, were not working again!
So, I can’t understand that I have that bad luck with my apple watch 10, buying two different cases and both of them were garbage, while for my apple watch I just bought the first random case I came across with, and had an awesome experience.
One of my theories for this first issue, is that apple watch 10’s glass is harder and it makes difficult to perform gestures while using a case.
But tell me your experience using this watch 10 and those clear cases.
2.- The second issue has to do with the crown and notifications’ center, and don’t know if it is a watchOS bug. If I move the crown downwards to read my notification’s center, I can’t return to my watch face or elsewhere, the watch gets frozen and nothing is read by voiceover and I can’t move to the watch face with a crown press, or a double tap on any notification, like for 2 minutes.
Conclusion: I need your help to understand if the apple watch 10 model is not worthy, or it is that my particular apple watch 10 is not properly working so I have to return it, or is it that watchOS 11 is a complete mess, or that I have just to sit down and wait until this issues are resolved and until I find a proper clear case for my watch?
Any ideas or comments are well received. Thanks in advance.

I think that second one is…
I think that second one is indeed a bug and I had it on my 7 as well as my 10. One way to avoid it is to turn on crown navigation, double finger tripple tap, which will stop you from flipping down to widgets or up to notifications. The other thing is that you can cover your watch, which locks it and then it should go back to the watch face afterwards.
I got the titanium because I also know I could smack it up a bit, though I tend to wear long sleeves anyway. It might be worth considering apple care instead of a case which, and, you'll have to check this, you can then get it repaired etc and leave it all nice and clear for multi touch use. I am surprised that these cases aren't working well as multi touch isn't exclusive to us as voiceover users, though we may use them more and therefore notice flaws in case design.
