Hello,
I use a Baseus Encok W04 Pro blutueth headphone. I am planning to update it. i feel it makes the voice over lag. I heard that airpot is my best option. I don't need a perfect voice quality but ease of use is important. I also would like to use it in my windows computor. I would love to hear your experionces. which airpot version is best for me, how to dicide, is there good non'apple headphones for iphone, can I use airpots on windows?
Best regards

This is absolutely irrelevant to your question, but this is not how you spell AirPods. Anyways, if you are including Microsoft in the equation think of somethign that is not Apple. Dual connection between Windows and Apple devices is not supported as far as I know. Other nice offerings from other brands would serve you better considering cross-platform compatibility.

I like the name, airpots, however, as another commenter said, it's actually a i r p o d s.

If you are using windows, I suggest looking for something current with multi-point support. Most have it these days.

Sadly, I think you are correct. The lowest latency I get with apple products is, of course, with apple AirPods, pro 2, and USB-C max. Bridging the gap between windows and IOS might be an issue.

It is possible to use AirPods with windows machines, but I'm not a windows user. I'm thinking you might have to set up a shortcut to connect and disconnect AirPods to your windows machine whilst just playing a bit of music on IOS will pull the AirPods over.

I've been using AirPods for years - I'm on my second pair of 2nd generation AirPods (they fit in my ears the best) and also have AirPod Pros 2nd gen.

They do work with Windows so no need to worry about compatability there, but there is the typical Bluetooth problem of NVDA or JAWS cutting off the first word of every sentence. This happens with every Bluetooth device - AirPods, my Bose bluetooth speaker and my Bose headphones.

I don't know if it is still under development, but there used to be an NVDA add-on that would fix some of the bluetooth issues.
The only thing I will say about airPods with a Windows device is they won't switch back and forth smoothly like they will on all Apple devices. If you don't mind the fuss, I'd say they are still worth it.

I don't use anything except AirPods with my iPhone. I have tried many different bluetooth earbuds, but they all lag at least just enough to really aggravate me. The ones with a low latency gaming mode can sometimes do as well as AirPods, but I've yet to find one where the cheaper price makes up for the inconvenience of having to turn that on every time. I just use them too much to want to put up with that.
I'm currently using the AirPods 4 with ANC, and they are by far the best ones I've ever had. I previously had the second and third generation ones, and niether really fit my ears well, but these are pretty much perfect. Of course your milage will vary depending on the shape of your ears. I also find that I'm actually using the noise canceling more than I thought I would, and it does a pretty good job, more than enough for my needs.
I would put up with having to manually switch the connection to use the laptop for the conveniences they give with an iPhone. That being said, I use a Windows computer at work, freakwently at the same time as I'm using my iPhone, so I have a pair of Shokz bone conduction headphones connected to the laptop. I can wear them and my Airpods at the same time.

I never used that nvda addon or now the built-in feature for cutting issue with bluetooth but silenzio from https://www.stefankiss.sk/silenzio (from memory we can get some of the pages like this in english but I can't find the link now) which is great.
As for the latency, basically there is a bluetooth standard that most built-in laptop's bluetooth driver (at least my hp zbook) doesn't support by default so I bought this https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0D7CKV1J8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title from Ugreen which does support this bluetooth audio standard and which makes the latency on airpods with windows almost equivalent to that of iphone or mac and overall makes the experience incredibly nice besides the ecosystem problem but as long as you have an iphone...
And yeah correct to airpods please unless you talk (which isn't the case) about apple airport which is a whole other story :)
